Responsibilities


Nanny:

The main role of a nanny is to provide a safe, caring, nurturing and stimulating environment in which the children thrive and develop. General responsibilities include undertaking most all tasks related to the children?s care. Responsible for keeping the children?s areas neat and tidy and doing the children?s laundry, in addition to providing attentive, may transport children to and from activities and plan the children?s daily schedule.


Mace Montessori Nursery:

To provide high standards of quality within the nursery including the environment, resources and experiences offered to the children.

Comply with the statutory framework for the Early Foundation Stage (EYFS) and relevant legislation including the children?s act 1989 and 2004.

To ensure that activities take into account the individual needs of each child by the implemented key worker system and building relationships with my 6 key children and their parents.

Ensure effective planning, assessment and record keeping for children, using the EYFS curriculum for guidance. Work in partnership with parents/careers to ensure they are kept fully informed and included in record keeping, monitoring and ensuring the 6 month reviewing progress of their child.

Demonstrate inclusive practice and positive behavioral management techniques.

Promoting the welfare of the children and ensure that the children are kept safe and child protection procedures are followed were necessary.

Work with management to continuously improve quality of childcare and education.


Lilford Day Care:

When working at Lilford Day Care I worked with 53 children and lots of parents, flexible day care for children in a secure, family orientated environment. demanding and pressured environment which has given me a lot of experience especially in children based working. My responsibilities included assisting children throughout the day which was structured but flexible to meet the individual needs of the children. Indoor and outdoor experiences were planned offering a wide variety of opportunities

encouraging children to socialise with others and experience small groups as well and exploring and investigating toys and activities alone or with a supportive staff member.


Clarks:

When working at Clarks; a popular and demanding shoe store, my responsibilities varied from collecting various shoes and sizes for customers, making shore the display was always tidy and up to scratch i.e making shore the shoe laces were tied or tucked into the shoe and that the shoe display was in line with the rest of the display.



JD Sports:

Whilst working in JD Sports, which is a quick paced and friendly environment my responsibilities entailed working on the shop floor i.e dealing with customers and collecting stock ready to stack the shelves. I was also operating the till; dealing with customers keeping the till point tidy, organised and handling money.


Island art studios:

When working at Island Arts Studios I worked under a demanding and pressured environment which has given me a lot of experience especially in customer services and children based working. My responsibilities included assisting children in the ICT workshops and also dealing with passing trade customers, handing out flyers, showing customers around and taking messages.

Anyone need emergency or general Childcare?

My name is Georgia Mason, I am aged 23, qualified for the children?s and young peoples workforce, possessing Level two, CRB checked also first aid. I have 4 years experience in childcare settings. Been a nanny/babysitter for 3 years 2013-2015. I also have experience in Lilford Day Care lasting four months due to the fact it was part of my college course as a placement, Following that I then received employment at Mace Montessori for 1 year. I would love the opportunity to take care of your child/children as I thoroughly enjoy the work I do and what I get back from each little personality. I am a happy, bubbly, responsible individual who is available for babysitting and childcare Monday - Friday am and pm.
