Speed cameras?

Hello,everyone.I just like to know if speedcurb cameras in Sydenham hill can monitor front and rear facing at the same time as I was driving down to Forest hill and there is one but it is on the opposite side of the road to me facing forwards and I saw a single flash,but I've heard that they wouldnt flash front facing.The speed limit is 20 but I think I was 30mph.Do you think the camera caught me?

Was there a car on the other side of the road that could have triggered it ?

There is a single camera on Brownhill Road, Catford with road markings on both sides of the road.

The camera is higher up and small and does not flash.. I assume it covers both directions.
