MUDDY BOOTS Outdoor Children's Nature Group runs every Monday and Friday 10-11.30am at the Devonshire Road Nature Reserve, Forest Hill

There's a sunny forecast for Muddy Boots of Spring on Monday 7th March!

We'll be looking for forked sticks and making stick people in the meadow. We'll take them for a walk in the woods and finish up with a snack and hot chocolate with a story and songs in the meadow.

The session is 10-11.30am at the lovely Devonshire Road Nature Reserve in Forest Hill.

Drop in session, no need to book.

?6/ child, sibling discount

Muddy Boots is a children's nature group which runs at Devonshire Road Nature Reserve in Forest Hill every Monday and Friday 10-11.30. Its very hands-on, friendly, relaxed, completely outdoors and aims to let children learn about nature, get grubby, get lots of fresh air and explore this lovely wild green space at their own pace.

Each week we have a nature related activity nature and there's digging, watering, a walk in the woods and listening for wildlife. We end up back at our log circle basecamp with a story, snack and songs. Children any age love the peace of the reserve and are very welcome. To engage best with the day's more structured activity, I recommend 15m and over. Younger siblings are very welcome to come along for free. ?6 per child, sibling discount. Meet at the gates on Devonshire Road, opposite Tyson road

    • Looking for a Seamstress to alter a dress for a legal ceremony (it is also a beautiful dress, so would be disappointed if it got ruined). Looking to adjust the neckline, so need someone who can support altering of design, as well as adjusting general measurements. Any recommendations are so appreciated, thanks! x
    • Me too.   It has been an abundant year for apples, grapes, rosehips and hawthorn berries.
    • Jason did a brilliant job replastering my loft bedroom. It had been done badly before, but he sorted everything out and even put in new joists where they were needed. He came across a few worrying things along the way but explained them clearly, put my mind at rest, and fixed them without any drama. He turned up when he said he would, finished on time, and kept everything tidy. Really friendly, really helpful, and the room looks fantastic now. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him!
    • Well if not housing with a bit of social attached, perhaps a local supermarket or a restaurant/ chain food place. Can’t think of anything else  that would for the bill unless a private dentist or even something like Tessa Jewel to serve that section. Pity that skate park might go - guys and gals put so  much work into it but have to  move with times. Community centre?  Anyone have any other ideas? Nice to explore….. Meant Jowel - not Jewel…
