If it is for a little one then make sure that there isn't a drawstring or cut it out if there is. I once found my then 3yo with the drawstrings wrapped tightly round her neck and she'd slipped off the air mattress too. She was fine, had been wearing her "necklace" but it gave me a real fright as I'd thought she was past that stage so had left the drawstrings in.

We got these ones after that incident and have had them for a few years and been pleased with them. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gelert-Junior-Sleeping-Pod-Distressed/dp/B00C20ITMM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1457543007&sr=8-1&keywords=junior+sleeping+pod

We also had the slipping off the mattress problem with a very wriggly 4 year old - we were on a double, he was on a single next to us, and I woke several times in the night to find him lying on the cold floor in the gap in between the two. After that trip I bought a cheap giant fleece blanket from Amazon to put on top of both mattresses and tuck under to hold them together. It makes the surface much less slippery, adds some warmth underneath you, and means he stays on the bed and we all stay warm and asleep. Some spare blankets to go under the air beds are also worth bringing - sounds weird but you actually lose more heat to the ground than the air.

(We tried just using a quilt for our first camping trip with a very wriggly three year old but were in a camping shop buying a sleeping bag on day two as he just didn't stay under the quilt and was freezing cold!)

    • I’d also recommend Paul for electrical work. He came round the other week to help us out with a handful of jobs (installing an SPD, new light fittings, installing a dimmer switch, a bathroom fan). His quote was cheaper than what I got from others, he turned up on time and he got the job done quickly.
    • We’d like to add our recommendation for Lukasz and team at L&L Building & Maintenance.  Lukasz has recently installed a roof terrace for us, and we’ve found him a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We contacted about a dozen recommended builders and found his quote very competitive. During the build his team delivered quality work, they were no hassle in the house at all and they kept the place tidy every day. The terrace looks great, and we’re very happy customers. What stood out in particular was Lukasz’s responsiveness, right from discussing quotes to follow-up during the build. Lukasz often checked in and was always available when we needed him.  We’ll definitely contact Lukasz again for future building work and we’d happily recommend him to others looking for a reliable builder.   Lukasz Kugaczewski L&L Building & Maintenance 07926651960 [email protected] www.landl-build.com
    • Yes, I did mention the train, which I now get from East Dulwich to Guys instead of the 40. Depends where in East Dulwich you are starting from which route is easiest! I think it is probably lack of staff rather than lack of hospitals which is the problem?
    • What can be done? How about reporting it to the police?
