Best way of getting a sofa from Fulham to SE London

OK - I know I sound daft - but I've not done this before (bought sofa on eBay) and now I need to find a way of moving it. The sofa is small (165cm in length) - there is also an armchair - both can be taken apart (would rather not for the hassle factor) but legs will come off.

Would a "Man with a Van" be able to pick up etc. IF so - any recs?

If you have some help with lifting then maybe consider using a Zip Van. There's a few stationed around ED. Costs about ?10 per hour including petrol. If you are not used to driving a van it's slightly daunting initially but pretty easy really. You'd have to factor in the Zip Car membership fee tho (about ?50 per year or so).

If you'd rather someone else do the lifting and driving its worth trying anyvan.com which is a service that gets loads of quotes.

    • The OP might have found the ‘Creative Trump’ protests entertaining but I found them very disrespectful to our late and great Queen Elizabeth who was interred at Windsor Castle 3 years ago.  They would have had more impact on projecting the images at Chequers today.
