SteveT
Legalbeagle wrote:- Mr Beagle has now returned from his curry and beers and is sniggering loudly at this thread!AAAH HAAA so that's his secret, he has a sense of humour........and he doesn't mind a take away curry slopped into his feeding bowl.So to summarise provided your fur-less beagle doesn't complain about you not cooking, and uncomplainingly coping with bowell moving curries on a regular basis, and never complaining about hours of potential cooking, grooming, and caressing time, being wantonly wasted on the forum, your marriage is a sound bet.Did Mr Beagle become furless in the last nine years or so, because if that is the case, I think I see a pattern emerging.I presume you legalbeagle are full of healthy bristling fur, and have a full set of your own teeth, and that has absolutely nothing to do with having your own way, not cooking for, nor serving, the fur-less beloved etc. and spending waaaaay to much time forumising with I quote 'a perverted quadruped groomer' by one who I assume (according to his title) is very knowledgable about such matters.Come to think of it, many marriages would be a sound bet when the opposition succeeds in getting all their own way. I suspect mr fur-less may be pursued when the local populace of available singles read what a gem he is, one of the old school of bearing his burdens with good grace. I bet you don't dare take him anywhere near drinks on Friday at the Black Cherry, lest he is taken for a walk in the heat of the moment by a passing vamp-hound. Mr Beagle had curry and beers outside of our home last night with a few of his mates, because he wanted to, and because I am a nice wife, he gets to go out just about whenever he likes. I'm sorry to tell you that I'm in fact quite a good cook (though Mr Beagle is better) so the arguments in this house are more about who has been hogging the kitchen rather than who has to cook. In fact Mr Beagle also bakes all our bread. A proper Mrs Beaton and no mistake. Further, it is an accepted fact in our house that Mr Beagle wins nearly all the arguments, since he is, annoyingly, much cleverer than I am. But I do have one or two tricks up my sleeve that ensure I win the battles I need to. Sadly I cannot bring him to the forum drinks as I will be in Hong Kong visiting a friend while he holds the fort and looks after our two beaglets. Lest you think this proof that I gad about while the poor boy does all the work, he fully accepts that, after four years in a row of going away for a week on a boys trip whilst I hold the fort, it is indeed my turn. In fact, bless him, it was his idea. I don't doubt that if I did take him to the drinks many a young lady would consider him quite a catch, but he'd never leave me. No one else has such good access to alcohol at cost. Finally, I must point out that Mr Beagle is not furless by any means. He just has very little hair on his head. But I forgive him this small failing. After all, bird don't make nest in bare tree. legalbeagle
Ah I see. Sorry his existence had passed me by. So this persons technique has been utilised on Mr Beagle by me? Or needs to be applied to me? I wasn't sure what Mr T's reference was to. Either way I sense he is becoming mean and tetchy again, and if that's the case I shall be cross and upset and shall call him to task. Mr and Mrs Spank will be paying short sharp trip to botty land. Roll Deep
At least you know your right from your left now, LB. SteveT
I remember the time during the sixties when you could have a night drinking, dancing, smoking and some other good things if you got lucky, like a cab home when it was pelting with rain, and still have change from a quid.I remember when the pound was not a banana republic bank note..........where as today you need to have five hundred in your pocket to get a hard on...............................................those were the days.
