Whatever your reason, this two-part course will introduce you to commonly used postures, sequences and breathing techniques. Through individual, partner and group work, you will build a foundation for your future yoga practice in the company of like-minded beginners.Katy will help to explore physiological and mental benefits of yoga, how props can be used to elevate and support your practice - and we'll throw in a little sanskrit, history and meditation for good measure.Each posture will be explored in depth, looking at the benefits, modifications and alignment so you can feel confident stepping out of your shoes and on to your mat.Saturday 2 and Saturday 9 April 2.30-4.30pm both dates.It is ?40 for the 4 hours teaching, plus you receive a free class credit worth ?13 to spend on any class at Yogarise.
