Best route to Geffrye museum from ED or Peckham Rye

Overground from PR to Hoxton.

It's on the Overground (orange) line from Forest Hill or Honor Oak Park

The Geffrye is close to Hoxton station so jump on Overground from Peckham Rye or Honor Oak Park.

Definitely use overground. Stops by the museum itself (although access from the station side still isn't possible, but planned).

The museum itself has a very nice cafe.

A very quick journey on the Overground to Hoxton. However there is no service north of Shadwell over the Easter break from Friday to Monday.

Can also get the train to London Bridge and then the 149 bus (takes about 15mins)

I take a 78 bus to Liverpool Street Station and walk down to the Museum each time I go. Or take a bus from Liverpool Street Station for a few stops. Alternatively a 35 from Canberwell or 42 from Okd Kent Road.

Gotta say... I hate the bus at the best of times, but that 78 is just painful.

I see the Museum has a display about the Aylesbury Estate opening on 5th April. Might interest those of us who live In Southwark.
