Was that the one in Montague Place/ Montagues Street?

I used to go in there and try on hats, then look in the mirror and laugh my head/hat off until they asked us to leave

They still have C&A in Vienna Lou never too late to relocate...

Thanks for starting this post dbboy and what a great photo of the now Primark store in Peckham. I remember it and the C&A store.

Personally, I love BHS in Lewisham and Croydon (check out their home wares not just the clothes, although they do some great swimwear and gifts) although some of their space is for Dorothy Perkins and Wallis and the men's section have other named sections inside the store so wonder what will happen to them if BHS goes? Also noticed over the past couple of years that the Lewisham branch don't have enough staff on the checkouts.

Hope the Lewisham branch don't lose their caf?/eatery to the food section if it comes.

    • Perhaps because those who feed them, don't give them proper food, rather stuff which clearly disagrees with their digestion. plus they are scavengers, eating anything they find,  You are not alone, likewise a daily occurrence clearing up their excrement. The worst bit is the bluebottles which feed off the excrement. IMO London needs a fox cull.
    • Thank you for all the advice, really helpful.  Fingers crossed we’ll find him soon.
    • I'm confused. Are you answering me, or Pugwash? If me, my nail with fungus was only  knocked off a few weeks back. So the nail hasn't grown back yet. I am not looking for someone to cut my toenails, as the podiatrist at the foot clinic cut them when checking the wound where the nail came off. It is Pugwash who is looking for somebody to cut their toenails, and MattGale has suggested Happy Feet as a cheaper alternative to Woodwarde Road.
    • Hello! No luck as yet but we have been doing regular walks around the surrounding streets at dusk and later, will try early morning too.    Thank you so much!  xx
