Recommendation for good decorator

Recommended Posts

It would be my pleasure to recommend Michael (forum name Michael555) to anyone who is searching for a reliable painter/decorator. He has not only decorated the interior of my old house in Honor Oak to the standard that I was more than happy with , but also had some brilliant ideas about brining new life to old tired kitchen cupboards. He is an easy-going guy and I enjoyed doing business with him.

His phone is 07908 827255

I would also like to recommend Michael. 07908 827255. I needed the outside of my house painting pretty quickly due to scaffolding coming down after a loft conversion. He came round within 24 hours, gave me a quote the same day and started work the following week. Reliable and very reasonably priced. We then offered him some more work straight away to paint the inside of our house. I found Michael on this forum - from other recommendations - and glad we did.

I recently used Michael to paint the front of our house, sash windows, railings etc. He did a fantastic job. He gets on with it, his standard of finish is excellent, he's tidy, reliable and has real integrity. He was also a pleasure to have around; he's courteous, thoughtful and the kids loved him. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him - he's one of the good ones.

    • Lordship Lane has two dry cleaners, three pizza places and an Italian selling pizza, two burger places, three bakeries, two hardware (ish, I'm thinking AJ Farmer here), God knows how many coffee and charity shops, two Italians, three nail salons, five wine shops... Where was the abject outrage when Dynamic Vines opened up literally next door to Cave de Bruno? But I don't see his customers decamped next door - no, those stalwarts are still out in force every night.  In Roman times all businesses were clustered by product. It's what kept prices down. Same in any market you go to abroad, they're all selling the same things next to each other.  Why is everyone being so hard on this new place? It's called healthy competition - you can't curtail the expansion of your business on the basis you that might hurt someone else's.
    • I have a new fixation so any available, please let me know.  Thanks.
