fergju
HiWe have a lovely old house from 1890's which some clever person has covered the front of with pebble dash.I really don't like it and would love to restore it back to brick but have no idea of cost / time etc.Is the other option rendering over the pebble dash or do you remove the PD the render if the bricks are in a very poor state? Thanks Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/99381-pebble-dash-removal-or-covering/ Share on other sites
Calsug
You would have to remove the pebble dash one way or another and don't trust anyone who says they can smooth over your existing wall, unfortunately we have it on the front and side of our house we got a quote to do the front of our house and it was about 10k so decided it wasn't worth it, so it's been painted over it which makes it look (a bit) better.
