There is still space on both rides. Remember you should register on Eventbrite, details below. If you cannot make it, please cancel so that someone else can take the place. Even at the last minute it is worth cancelling (How to cancel). Note the weather forecast for Saturday promises 26 degrees and light cloud.

Reminder that we often have photos and short reports on the Facebook site (https://www.facebook.com/groups/553896211918871) and longer reports and route info on the Southwark Cyclists web site (https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/health ... orts-2022/). Some nice butterfly images from last week here.

Ride 1. London Bridge to Kings Cross < https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/london-b ... 0759230377 > Bruce leading a short (10 miles, 2.5 hours, 10am start) ride from London Bridge (Southwark Needle, south side of bridge) to the new developments at Kings Cross (and back). Will be time for a look round Granary Square and Coal Drop Yard, and to grab a coffee. Route outward heads east via Bank and then uses Cycleway 6. Return route will start through St Pancras Cemetery, then pass the Crick Institute and the British Library, continue through Bloomsbury to Lincolns Inn Fields and finish with a stretch of Cycleway 3 and the loop past The Monument on to London Bridge. Route map at https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit? ... sp=sharing

Ride 2. 7 Views and an Airline < https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/7-views- ... 0756762997 >

Jamie leading his popular 7 views ride. With this time an extension to ride the Emirates Airline Cable Car (queues permitting). Probably take 3.5 hours, 9.30 to 1pm. Ride will start in Peckham Square and end at Cutty Sark. Note 9.30 start time and the different start and finish locations. For anyone needing to get back to the start in Peckham, we have arranged for one of the riders to lead. The route is predominantly on quiet back roads and paths traversing Nunhead Cemetery, Hilly Fields Park, and Blackheath (The Point viewpoint). On to Greenwich Park and the Gen Wolff viewpoint and the Queens View Point (One Tree Hill).

These rides are part of the Southwark Cyclists' Healthy Rides programme, [southwarkcyclists.org.uk].
