WOMAD Festival?

Keef

Anyone been or got any opinions.

Mrs Keef really fancies it, and has been mentioning it for a few years. Now we have the little one, I am more inclined to give it a try. I do love African music, so that would be a good bit.

I have been and I could not reccommend it more, Its one of the most chilled out festivals on the circuit and perfect for a family weekend. The music is nearly all live and the standard of it is excellent. Lost of sonds you would never heard before because of the international musician ship. some good workshops and loads of ethnic gifts and craft stuff to buy. If the weather is good it's a corker. you should go keef it will definately appeal to your creative musical vibe!!

Cool, sounds like it's worth a try then. The last couple of festivals I've been to, I've hardly bothered watching any bands, so it's not as if I'm missing out on seeing some big named act (I can never understand these people that will go to Reading / Glasto, and spend THE WHOLE DAY stood down the front watching the main stage!

This does sound like it would be fun, and right up Mrs Keef's street.

Assuming it hasn't sold out by pay day, I think I'll get tickets.
