More precisely has my computer? I'm currently listening to what sounds like a pre-recorded radio programme on financial matters, which turned itself on while I was away from the laptop. I've no idea where it's coming from as my laptop isn't tuned in to any radio stations. I did open what could be a suspect email this morning. Any idea's anyone?

some websites i look at which offer a podcast on a weekly basis automatically start the podcast when i access the main page, an example is eastsideboxing.com

You'll probably have found out by now that it's some intrusive web page that's included some audio content. Closing down tabs one by one will usually identify the culprit. It should be possible to configure your browser to restrict the range of guff it displays automatically.

I didn't have much open and found the culprit to be 'beautyscreens' as that appeared in my volume control screen. I appear to have got rid of it by turning windows firewall on. Not sure why it was off!
