If you go down to the woods today you're sure of a big surprise...

Bring your family to woodland themed activities at the Centre for Wildlife Gardening on Saturday. Make clay monsters to live in the woods and find out all about identifying winter trees and how animals adapt to winter life in the woods.

Morning Session: 10.30am - 12.30pm for younger children (up to 7)

Afternoon Session: 1.30pm - 4.30pm for older children (7 and up)

All courses are for parents/carers and children together. Sessions are broadly aimed at either younger or older children but are flexible so if you have children of various ages come along to either or both! Contact [email protected] for more info or just drop in on the day.

These activities will take place every Saturday with different themes until the end of March 2017 - you are welcome to come to as many of them as you like!

    • Cars are getting bigger and heavier. Speed enforcement is pretty rare. Hopefully we'll see regulation to stop the car bloat arms race, and perhaps moves to use the same geolocation speed limiters deemed essential for electric hire scooters, but not currently SUVs
    • Another recommendation for Half Moon- my youngest daughter attended and it was by far the best nursery we’ve ever experienced. The teachers are just wonderful and they care so much for the children (who, in return, love them to bits). There’s also a very low staff turnover, so there’s real stability and continuity for the children. My daughter left each day so happy and proud to show me what she’d learnt. It’s amazing!
    • Did you take the car number? Otherwise the council wil have to look through it for an address.
    • Well if you did get anywhere please let me know... we have speed cushions outside our property in Honor Oak Road, my house has been being shaken along with the accompanying noise since 2008.. the council  just keeps telling me it not the speed cushions and we are too far away from them.
