Is anyone heading to Ikea in the next few weeks?

and if so, would they be willing to pick me up 1 kitchen cabinet door? I'd be happy to come and collect from them locally and would pay in advance. I just can't face the schlep to Ikea for one item (especially as I know I'd come out with 20...)

Thanks!

Wow - mercenary Beansprout (perhaps text speak was a hint). I went to Greenwich/Charlton Thursday sorry. We picked up some stuff for friends too. Good karma, they will do similar, or get us a drink, or donate some money towards charity. I have done a few favours in the past like return lost mobile phones or keys, and stand there on the door step waiting for thanks or an offer of something that I may or may not turn down. And had nothing. And then chuckled to myself as a small meteorite hit the house and killed everyone. I did manage to get away from IKEA without too much collateral damage, they have designed the car park at Greenwich so you get lost and can never leave... Try posting on the 'wanted' by the way.

    • That's an incredibly (and somewhat predictably)  myopic view Mal. CleanAirForAllDulwich are campaigning against is the injustice of some having to live with more air pollution from displacement caused by the very things the likes of you and CleanAirDulwich lobby for.   Sue you are right - as in everyone deserves cleaner air. And Mal, your industrialist analogy is spot on, the council and their supporters (like CAD) are trying to live in areas with lower pollution whilst forcing more pollution onto their neighbours.
    • Yes, I think that’s exactly it. I’m sorry my post was unclear.
    • FH is so much greener and IMO nicer than ED, sorry. Less commercialised.  The Great North Wood, Hornimans Gardens, Brenchley Gardens, One Tree Hill ) yep, some of that borders ED, so split between the two)
    • Tesco sell pudding rice https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/254877391   And as for olive oil, my preference is the Spanish 2L cans in Sainsbury, it has a real nice peppery taste, not bland like the Italian one's I've tasted, but that's personal preference I suppose.
