  1. Take bite stuff, it may be better now but I got very badly bitten by a mosquito in the Everglades, could have been an Alligator so could has been worse and my leg swelled up. Don't get lost, Miami is lovely but go off the main drag and its a bit of a shock to the system, where the "not so rich" people live. We stayed in one of the art deco hotels on the main drag, the beach has quite a few tanned, young, slim, fit people on it ;) who like to hang out, bit weird when your older, a little overweight and almost see through white like me!
  2. I often pick up poo from outside our house and on pathways over the park, lazy gits, but I have a dog so its not the end of the world picking it up although I should not have to! You want a dog you pick up after it.
  3. Its 30 mins door to door from Honor Oak to Stratford by train, nice journey too!
  4. I don't have any children, but I hope this club does not close, good luck (tu)
  5. I have used Sainsburys for ages now, no problems whatsoever so far!

  9. Robert Elms had a really good bike stolen and it was found on the Polish version of ebay, he never got it back though.
  10. We always do it on the 31st, well my husband does, I sit and watch tv :) we have about 20/30 lots knocking!
  11. Yes fingers crossed, hope she is found soon x
  12. Oooh your a lovely man Marmora Man, why is this bothering you so much? Haven't you got enough to do watching people cut through your road? Quick you might miss one! When a dog is stolen, one of the best ways to get it back, is by making it hot "property" so to speak, the more people that know about it, the more likely the owners will get her back because she will be to hot to handle. You can call me foolish and sentimental because I love dogs, I really don't care, I'd rather be me than you :)) and someone will will the Euro lottery! Lucky them!
  13. If its not happening on Marmora Rd, then it don't count! Dogs are very quickly passed on and can end up miles away, God forbid if this were one of mine, I would do anything to get them back, if you don't like the thread, then quietly walk away and let these people get on with trying to find there much loved companion!
  14. Your welcome, good luck xxx
  15. I remember reading about this :'( have you put info on Facebook and doglost? Good luck xx

  21. The footballer I was referring to, did it up the big tree to the left of the gate, he made no attempt to hide it, I see it on most weekends mainly the bushes to the right, if I had children, I would be so angry if my child saw it, its not nice and like tallulah71 said, there are toilets in the park, dirty gits. Oh, don't get me started on the spitting...........
  22. Can't do right for doing wrong milliemum, damned if you do, damned if you don't! Just keep on doing your thing :)-D you never know,the- e- dealer may take a pic of you controlling your dogs! Wouldn't that be nice!
  23. the-e-dealer Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > How many Dogs Savaged to Death By Children? Well, you get your teens/youths who abuse there dogs and use them as weapons, so maybe not savaged but beaten and abused. A majority of dogs who savage children are usually dogs that have not been socialised/walked/trained/loved/etc sadly. There used to be a woman in the park years ago who was a childminder, she had 3 dogs also, one of her kids walked upto my dog who was laying in a puddle and stamped on her tail, I said "Don't do that! She could bite you if your hurt her" the woman said "Oh would she bite?" :'( My friend has a very small dog and since she has had her, at least 3 children have just walked over and picked her up with the parents looking on and doing nothing, children need to be educated too, I love it when they ask to pet my dogs and let them :))

  25. Hear hear firstmate. The majority of dog owners in PRP are law abiding people, I agree that people should not let there dogs run over flower beds, I walk in the park everyday and mostly people are good, you do see the odd one letting there dogs go where they shouldn't be, but on the whole its fine. I remember the days when we had park people in the hut and they would be in the park everyday, it felt safe knowing they were around and they were keeping an eye on things, we are lucky to see a warden nowadays, cutbacks................. I reported a footballer urinating up a tree at the Colyton rd entrance, he was to the left on the entrance with his thing out in full view peeing up the tree, I reported him to the park manager with a full description, but as the team hadn't booked the pitch, they didn't know who was playing there and nothing could be done. They told me to call the police next time! Like I'm gonna do that!
