Would just like to set the record straight it was not a mugging. I know the lady that was involved a close friend of the family the man that attacked her was her estranged husband. It was a very violent attack. The lady was took to hospital and treated and is recovering. Her husband was caught by the police in nunhead and was arrested thank god.He is now in custody awaiting court, with which i hope he goes down for a very very long time.

plz plz plz try to do something about the parking outside francesca gabrini primary school, a tragedy waiting to happen.Parents literally parking all four wheels of their cars on the pavement, i have been on to southwark and lewisham making them aware of this problem but to no avail. Will it take a child to be killed for anybody to address this situation. -

memories of rye hill ta comunitee hall?
kingy68 replied to cook1e's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
yes i remember the mimettes, i was in it we use to travel around pubs and social clubs raising money for charity, we done alot of funraising for kings college hospital, such fun times! My cousin has got video footage of it somewhere, my grandad and dad used the club every friday night to play cards and did so up untill around 12 years ago when they moved out of the area. Not much goes on there these days which is quite a shame. The day trips still occur once a year but not much of a turnout. -
I spoke to the staff in the adventure , the lady playworker told me there are plans for another 3 swings to be erected some time this year ! by the sounds of it they are unsure as well.

Why does Homestall Road have no, er, road?
kingy68 replied to Peckwich's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Homstall road is'nt a private road it is owned by southwark council. The homeowners that live on the road seem to think it is privately owned by themselves, therefore getting up a petition to stop the road being surfaced so as to stop anyone wanting to use it.
