  1. You have to heat treat it and it's ok - the resulting compost, not the pooh! Not sure what process they use for human compost toilets, but it's all usuable, just not on food crops, like you say Asset
  2. Sorry, I have to defend the chav's cos most of the people I know own chavvy bull-breed dogs, and they get their dog pooh bags free from the library and have no problem scooping up the offending stuff. It does occur to me tho, being a bit greenish, that putting compostible matter into non-compostible bags is a bit of a crap way of dealing with it, and what happens to it after we dilligently pop it into the dog pooh bins? Does it get incinerated, or stuffed in landfill? When my dog does a crap in my garden, I put it in a compostable bag with the garden waste, but if I had to buy compostable bags I'd be too broke to feed my chav dog on the raw tripe he loves so much. Wot a conundrum.
  3. We have just finished putting posters all over Kennington and Brixton, and spent hours in Kennington Police station reporting the robbery. The boy who actually got robbed, my daughter's boyfriend's best friend, needed some persuading to make a statement because he is terrified of reprisals, but did the right thing in the end.
  4. Hi, I managed to get him on the dogs lost site and they have been really great. The woman who runs it says the guys who robbed the boy for the puppy sound like the same ones who have done it before, and they live in Acre Lane Brixton, so we are going to swamp the area with posters to hopefully make it too hot to keep or sell him. Fingers crossed, and thanks for your help bossboss.
  5. Thank you. My daughter and her boyfriend have been all over the place asking people if they have seen him, and we are going to put posters up tonight and tomorrow.
  6. If anyone wants to help, and has access to a colour printer, it would be great if they could print off a couple of copies of the poster I attatched on the first post and put them up somewhere visible. I don't think they need to be in the Kennington area, because the puppy was stolen by youths who beat up the boy who had taken him out for a walk, and they will probably try to sell him in other areas.
  7. Thank you, it's my daughter's boyfriend's dog, and they have been crying non-stop since it was stolen.

  9. Mine is in Mottingham, and I got the 1st year free cos it was full of brambles and bushes after years of neglect. It's massive, too big for me, so I've only managed to clear just over half of it. It's ?86 per year if anyone wants to share it with me.
  10. I think I know why everyone loves to bleat on about recycling (I still always recycle) is because it's an easy thing to do and you don't feel guilty consuming vast amounts of stuff you don't need, or driving about in a big car, flying on holiday etc. The same goes for the low energy light bulbs. But It's more complicated than that. The lightbulbs have masses of powdered mercury in and need to be properly disposed of and recycled, not just dumped in landfill. Some recycling contractors still stuff over 50% of what they collect into landfill, or incinerate it. What I think we need to realise is that we have to stop buying stuff. All the crap we consume, that keeps the economy going, is destroying our planet. You can't have infinite growth on a finite planet. Stop buying organic lettuce etc in supermarkets that has been flown in from Africa/Isreal/South America as a cash crop while the local people have their lands stolen to grow it for us in the west while they starve to death. Buy fresh food locally if possible so you can have more idea of it's provenance, or better still rip up all that bloody tarmac, paving and decking in your gardens (if you have them) and grow your own, or grow it on your balcony, window sill, front room floor, allotment. Stop buying electrical crap. Try to only use your car if you have a load of people to share it, or if you need to carry big loads. Keep chickens or rabbits in your back garden like they did in the old days. Take back control of your food. Get a windmill on your roof, much more efficient than solar. Get a water butt. Anyone else think of anything else, please feel free to add to the list, cos I need a cup of tea.
  11. Pity they didn't manage to make their decision when there was still a chance of saving the emergency clinic. Anyone smell fish?
  12. Yes but Cameron was selected to stand againt the spin-myster Blair, and now that the stolid Brown is his opponent, he's flapping about wondering what happened!
  13. So AD, are Chavs not alowed to name drop like the rest of you then?? I'm just showing off cos I was at Camp Crusty and got chatting to the very sexy Rob Newman. Didn't manage to get his number though no matter how hard I tried.
  14. Or the newly ex-Npower chap
  15. Sounded very manly to me Brendan, you shouldn't need to feel the need to hide your machismo under a tea towel to appease the pansies as far as I'm concerned!!
  16. Brendan for leader
  17. Keef -I guess we'd have to stop trying to take over the world then (or sitting on the Americans coat-tails as they try to take over the world)!
  18. I met Rob Newman at the Cliamte camp, he's really funny, and much better looking in real life. His article is spot on. I might nick it for my blog!
  19. Asset - then you'd have to get a dog
  20. I'm not big on hierarchical leaders. I think we all need to become leaders, instead of allowing these deeply flawed unnatural leaders to be running the planet. Power to the people, especially us Chavs, who outnumber the poncy unsporty types, but can't be arsed running anything much (at the moment!).
  21. Mockney - so do poncy, unsporty, bullied dictators like Blair, Hiltler and Stalin! I think the way I look at it is, that in the past, when these people did not have technology to back them up, they would have been bottom of the pack, but now they are running the world! Scary stuff!
  22. Damn I could have sent one from Cornwall, but I just got back.
  23. I'm shocked you lot don't all like my hero MM! I think all the hardnuts should get the pansies out of power, cos they've had it for ages and don't seem to know what to do with it, other than sell it to the highest bidder. I've got a scary dog, and he's great.
  24. One of my favourite subjects!! I just spotted this on the Dog Borstal guy's website and I have to share this cos it's spot on. All I have to add, Mic Martin is, stand yourself, take the politician's place and scrap stupid laws like these! "Dangerous Dogs My statement A few years ago while on a research trip at a dog training school in America where at least 6 dogs in twenty were Pit Bulls I came home with a totally different outlook on the breed, the guys were into sports like weight pulling, agility and obedience. While I was there I also did some training at the local Gun Club, I had been trained as a Police Firearms Officer but there I was able to train and get a better understanding of different types of weapon. In Britain today we basically have one rule if something bad happens lets ban everything associated with it. For example something tragic like a Numb-nut going on the rampage with a gun, let?s ban all the responsible Gun Clubs and shooting clubs. Some dick heads play at being hard with their dogs so we ban an entire breed. Banning hand guns certainly made a difference to the gun crime, did it f**k Police Officers are still being shot and killed. Not I hasten to say by the Olympic small arms club, by Criminals. Statement: The Dangerous Dogs Act made a massive difference to Dog Attacks. Did it? When the law came in I worked it, I had to enforce it, not some politician that wouldn't know the arse end of dog from the biting end. I was one of the first members of the Police Dangerous Dogs Team, we would assist in the capture of Dangerous Dogs or offenders using dogs as weapons against the Police, we shot some and captured some but most just went on a lead and were honestly a lot more frightened of us than we were of them. What happened they all got put down, because they were dangerous? Not really, because they had the misfortune to have a F***ing idiot as an owner. For every irresponsible Labrador, Chihuahua, Collie owner, I will show you a responsible bullbreed owner it?s not the BREED it?s the OWNER. And Criminals still run puppy farms and they still control dog fights in Manchester Birmingham and London and they still have guns. Politicians: Those little brainy kids I hated at school, the sort that couldn't kick a ball straight, had no real idea of what was happening around them. They grew up...... and now we've put them in charge. They still don't know what's happening around them, not one of them a natural leader, just good at paperwork. 25. I think I'm the only person I know who has never watched BB. I've sat thru a couple of 'episodes' at friends houses, and never understood why anyone would watch it. I'm still mystified by it's popularity, but don't watch a lot of TV anyway.
