  3. Dulwich Village FC has a few spaces available for girls currently in year 6 or 7 looking to join a team for the new season in September. We train on a Friday from 6pm to 7pm at JAGs and have matches at various locations in South East London on a Sunday morning. Let me know if you would like to join Friday training in the next month to get a taster of the football ahead of making any decision. Ability to play in goals an added advantage!!
  4. Adding to the recommendations on here for Oskars. Sorted our fence that had fallen, and needed replacing, within days, was communicative throughout the quote, booking and work activity, always meeting his promises, was reasonably priced and his team did a super job and left the place spotless despite the rubbish weather. Would definitely use again (though I hope to not have to due to a new sturdy fence!)

  7. Would echo the positive comments for top signal on here. Tom was very swift in responding to our initial query, and very communicative before and during his visit. We needed an aerial amp fix and a replacement dish (which we only found out following inpsection on their arrival) but nothing was a bother and the remedy was patiently and thoroughly worked at by Tom during his visit, and all in a lovely manner. Would highly recommend if you have TV issues needing resolution.
  8. I can also recommend John, replied quickly to my initial enquiry, turned up to do the work on time a few days later and did a great job (one wall in bedroom being plastered) Tidy and communicative throughout.
  9. Crashed moped looking a bit worse for wear in Green Dale fields (photo attached). Council alerted so may not be there for long.
  10. Just had a back garden transformed by Saied - lawn returfed, flower planting, shed painting and general tidy up - looks like it never has before. Garden unexpectedly had four tonnes of concrete underneath which had curtailed lawn growth, but no more thanks to the hard work in removing the rubble and giving the lawn a chance to grow. Would recommend Saied for the pride in his work.
  11. I sent the below request to the customer services email twice (one in September and once in October) but got no reply despite website saying i should hear within 20 days "I wish to understand more about your staffing at London Bridge at peak evening times. The frequency of the services at evening rush hour is not ideal (only one train to North Dulwich every 20 minutes between 17.11 and 19.01) People understand this frequency may improve post works at London Bridge. People also understand that sometimes technical problems lead to delays. Whilst both the frequency and technical issues are frustrating they are nowhere near as annoying as being stuck on a train at London Bridge that can't take off due to driver delays in arriving to the train. It is shameful that the delays of one person can have a detriment on hundreds of people trying to get home. Such delays seem to have increased lately. Can you not have relief staff or surplus staff on the station to take trips for which a driver is late for? Failing that can you be more specific about the driver delay when announcing? How long more the wait is likely, why the driver is late etc? As it stands people think Mr Driver just couldn't be bothered turning up for work on time and feel wound up by the driver when a better explanation of the delay would dissipate that fury. Yes the announcements apologise for the delay, yes there are people on the platforms saying the driver should be here soon, but those platitudes are not addressing the repeating problem. Can you let me know the usual reasons for staff delays to trains (is it mainly due to late for work people, or sickness) and what if any cover you have in place for such delays
  12. Mmmmm This might make any standard appeal to such fines less likely to succeed http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/cars/article-3303189/Parking-ticket-disappointment-UK-motorists-Supreme-Court-rejects-chip-shop-owner-s-85-appeal.html
  13. Happy to also recommend Richard - he has just finished painting our downstairs and did a super job at reasonable rates. Kept disruption to the minimum and the place tidy.

  15. North Dulwich to London Bridge attached, with london Bridge departures to ND/ED also shown
  16. doing display round trips from Alleyn's grounds
  17. Jimbo, If you quote SE magazines to the London Door company you get a 10% discount - see page 27 of the SE21 december issue www.semagazines.co.uk
  18. to add to the problems of the junction, if you are travelling from either calton avenue or court lane at peak times and want to turn right at the lights towards north dulwich, the only way to make the turn seems to be to break a red light (as the oncoming traffic from turney road makes a turning during the green light a challenge) there should be a filter right turn light even if only for a short while each time
  19. got one today that was posted sept 5th, still have five letters i know have been posted in last 3 weeks that remain undelivered (including passport i need in 2 weeks time) - only hoping backlog gets worked through rather than destroyed as some suggest
