I used to have to get the train from ED to Gatwick to get to work every day. Quickest way used to be train from ED to Tulse Hill and then a FCC from Tulse Hill to Gatwick (only 2 stops and 30 mins!) Unfortunately, First Crapital Disconnect became really really unreliable towards end of last year... If only ED went directly to East Croydon again. It still escapes me why anyone would route through to terminate at West Croydon ?!?!

Speaking of Dulwich Hamlet FC, does anyone happen to know what all the big white portakabins and vans are doing in the alley way there?

Hi Kay As per JBARBER - the park isn't owned or part of East Dulwich Estate and the housing area behind is actually very nice! I live on Burrow Road and my garden backs onto the football club. The only time I notice it is on a Saturday, but that's not really a problem for me. In terms of security, *touch wood*, no problems so far although I wouldn't walk through the park on my own late at night! I personally think it's a very nice area. Alex -

Hi all, Really enjoyed this series of Torchwood, in spite of the typical Russell T. Davies ending! Peter Capaldi was truly brilliant! I wonder how often he felt like jumping into Malcolm to swear at the alien and PM? What interested me the most was the way they left the final scene and what it means for where series 4 gets picked up... I'd be interested to hear where you think it's going to be taken? Will the omnipresent and ubiquitous John Barrowman return in the lead or will they look to a whole new cast? And Dulwichmum, thank you for giving me a very good laugh: "He (John Barrowman) has had as much Botox as Joan Rivers and she is still more manly than him."
