  1. I went in this morning and yes it was slightly chaotic but I was given a new card, ID number and pin so I can book classes etc on line. I think people on here need to give the centre a break. People have been moaning how bad Fusion was for as long as I can remember. Now a new company have taken over and you are all still moaning. They have literally been in charge since yesterday - that's 24hours!! Give them a break. If they had shut the centre to do a full handover and training you would all be moaning you had no gym. Yes there will be chaos but why don't you just give the new company a bit of support for a few weeks while they transition everything over. There is always so much negativity about a new business. The bottom line is it's a local authority gym. If you don't like it go somewhere else
  2. Just wondered did it happen at night or during the day?
  3. Hello, thanks for the welcome. We are very much looking forward to starting this September I know there are a few things already organised but are there any parents than would fancy a park meeting with kids or evening drinks without the kids! Happy to organise I would also potentially be interested in some shared after school care if we do not get into the after school clubs Thanks Catherine

  5. I went to Essex and Beauty recently. Really fun place. Perfect for a birthday. Quirky entrance through a shop!

  8. Hello I am currently looking at schools and would really appreciate some honest feedback about the Belham school. Please PM if you would prefer. I am hearing very mixed things although a lot is positive but I would really like to get a few more parents feedback. I have been to the school tour, looked at their information etc but you can't beat first hand reports too. Any insight would be massively appreciated Thanks
  9. She has a pretty bad spiral break to her tibia. In a full leg cast. X
  10. Hello. My 3 year old has broken her leg. She is in a full leg plaster and will be for 8 weeks (totally rubbish) She will need physio after. Can anyone recommend a good child one please Thanks Catherine
  11. Yes all the local Fusion leisure centers run them. Probably best to call the centers.

  13. Hello I posted a similar question a while back for a 4 year old and got some fab ideas. I am hoping you can help me. I need to buy something for a lovely strong minded 6 year old girl. Any suggestions would be great. She likes crafts but I think she has felt. bead and sewing kids already. I was sort of thinging something nature related? Thanks in advance Catherine
  14. Is 30 delaying it then? Blimey.
  15. It does but do you know if they would cover our area? It's not included in their list X
  16. Hello I am looking to return to work in September after my second daughter turns one. Before having my first daughter I was a Head of digital sales. Unfortunately (or fortunately as it worked out for me) this role was made redundant whilst I was on mat leave nearly 3 years ago. I am now looking for a new job but only want to work part time. The ideal would be a job share but I know they are hard to come by. Just thought I would find out if there was any one in a similar situation that would be interested in a job share or who knew of a relevant job share. Thanks Catherine
  17. Yep rubbish here too. Train terminated at queens road peckham!
  18. Just noticed that according to national rail timetables, it seems it will now take up to 19 minutes to go from East Dulwich to London Bridge. There are a handful through the day that take 12 mins but most now take at least 16 and often 19 mins.
  19. Great. Thank you. I did Chee's class with my first child too. Great classes.
  20. Hi Tanny I couldn't see the Copleston class on Edtots. Would you mind sending me the details. I only know of the one in Honor Oak Thanks Catherine
  21. If you are still looking I have one you can buy. It's a universal one. Pm me if you are interested
  22. We stayed here last month. http://www.thegranarylovettswood.co.uk/ We had a 2 year old and a 6 week old baby. They had so much baby equipment for both ie. moses basket, cot, toys, pram, high chair etc. Great location for days out and plenty to do on the farm as it had a great garden with a slide and other outdoor toys. Rose and Farmer John own the cottage and were brilliant. It's a working farm so we had a tour of the farm and watched the cows being milked. If you do contact them please say that I recommended them (Catherine Frusher) Please PM me if you have any other questions Thankyou Catherine
  23. Probably a bit late now but I just sterilised ours using Milton tablets x
  24. Also recently used Matthew and his team. They did a great job of decorating my hall snd staircase. Would definitely reccomemd them. Unlike some tradesman they actually communicate to you and keep to their word. Reasonably priced too. Thanks
  25. Have a look at the site for Baby Bolt holes. Some of their places are a bit pricey but they have great baby/toddler facilities. The site may give you some good ideas. Most properties also have recommended baby sitters attached to them. Something to consider? X
