  1. Hi there, if anyone is interested in hearing more modern piano pieces that are aimed at the intermediate pianist, please have a listen to the videos linked below. The pianist and composer is my brother, who teaches music in Bangkok. The sheet music will be available to buy shortly and any likes would be much appreciated! Hope anyone who listens enjoys it.
  2. Another big YES for Russell Perring (07852 972 052). Very reasonable and knows what he is doing. I work in the construction industry and was very impressed with both the level of workmanship and also Russell's overall knowledge of roofing. For this reason I have now used Russell on two seperate occasions. The first was to repair some storm damage after 6 of my ridge tiles blew off during high winds. During this visit he also resolved some other problems, re-bedding some other tiles and reinstating some lead flashing (problems with poor workmanshuip when the flat was originally built). Impressed with the first visit and the fair pricing of the works, I then had Russell back to carry out some more extensive repair works. The second visit involved replacing 75no coping stones (amongst other things). I waited until Russell was available, as I knew that he would stick with the task until it was finished and finished correctly. Russell and his team are very friendly and I would certainly recommend him to anyone who is in need of a reliable roofer.
  3. Another recommendation for dave- he fixed a number of probs we had with our oven/hob and was great- quick, nice and reasonable!
  4. O also should have said, you'll spot me as I'll have a little blonde haired 4 year old girl with me and a 3 month old strapped to me! My name's Jen too.
  5. Great see you and hopefully others there just before 11!
  6. Good wet weather idea! Let's stick with Friday morning then as everyone can definitely do that.
  7. Just looked at the weather forecast for Friday and it's looking rainy... Any wet weather ideas for venue if needs be, or shall we meet on Wednesday instead if that suits others, as the forecast is for sun? We can do Wednesday am.
  8. We could do 11am (figure you mean 10.30am...?!) but would need to leave about 12.45pm to do a nursery pick up- still time for a picnic lunch though! Or we can do the afternoon, around 3.
  9. I'd be a fan of the picnic area in pr park too for the same reason (will have 2 year old and 3 month old with me too!). Haven't heard anything about school dinners- I just assumed they'd be getting them... Will Defo ask the person who comes for the home visit, so I can sort packed lunches for the first day if needs be!
  10. Dulwich park is fine for us, or Peckham rye park in the picnic area? Whatever suits others is good for us.
  11. Hi there! Friday 6th is good for us- maybe we could do a picnic tea in the afternoon? Hopefully the weather will play ball!
  12. Hi there, My daughter is starting in reception at Goodrich in a couple of weeks and I was wondering if anyone else wanted to meet for a picnic or something before they start? I've heard of another school previously organising something similar and that it's been really helpful to let the kids meet others in an informal setting before starting reception. Let me know if you fancy it- time is rather short before they start but hopefully it will be possible to squeeze something in!
