Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. There is however a good novel by an Italian collective called "Luther Blisset" which deals with the early days of Protestantism, particularly the more revolutionary anabaptist elements, which is well worth a read. It's the DNA of that time that we still see strong in NN and co. It is more prevalent in the US for the obvious reason that the place was practically born of those strands, but it is lively everywhere now. No god to fight against and the church is neutered, so let's rail against "them" whomsoever they may be. So much easier than blaming yourself for your inadequacy eh. And no SJ, I'm still not taking about you you weirdo.

Whilst trying to get to Galway the other day I ran over Ronan O Gara. My Brother in law went into quite the spittle flecked waters hating diatribe on seeing the authorship of the book. Having read the book he made me laugh quite a bit, I learnt a few things, but I know I don't like him. (THe Gerry Adams one was spot on mind!!)
