PERFECT CAKES RECOMMENDATION!!
ckophotography replied to lilysmummy2007's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Hi cate, thanks for the compliment! Hmm I hadn't thought about marmalade, will look into it and let you know if I find the perfect recipe/technique. If you ever need a cake I'll give you a little sample of one of my citrus curds for you to try ;) -
PERFECT CAKES RECOMMENDATION!!
ckophotography replied to lilysmummy2007's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Thankyou lilysmummy for this lovely recommendation! Some other forumites have now tried my cakes and enjoyed them as much as you did. I've also just discovered the most delicious lemon curd recipe and am thinking of possibly making citrus curds (lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit) and jarring them up for other forumites... And obviously it's delicious in the middle of a cake or filling the centre of cupcakes! For anyone interested in my home baking journey, here is the original thread. Thanks again! -

Pebbles, Belle, I see a trend ocurring! I've been doing the same thing, especially because he has a chest infection and walking through the snow from Shoreditch can't be good- but he's having none of it. Damn him and his work ethic! I'd be outta there haha! -

I was there with my boyfriend- who rushed to see if he could help- but we couldn't see what exactly happened. One of the staff at the meat counter was shouting that someone had run into the back stock area and then we saw that about a dozen bottles of wine had been knocked off a shelf in the alcohol section and police and staff were sectioning the area off. When we left there was a police van plus about 4 cars and a policeman saying something about GBH and carrying a roll of police tape... Anyone know anything more? -
The highlight of my Christmas was the staple set my Mum gave me. She seemed quite pleased with herself when she asked me 'You don't have one do you?!'. ...It also remarkably resembles a set I saw in the Pound Shop... And yes I do have a stapler already which I never use. Thanks Mum.

Speaking as someone who has both of those consoles, I feel the novelty of the Wii wears off pretty quick. It does depend on what you want- if you're going to be playing with family and other people then the Wii is very social and fun but it just doesn't rival the Xbox for solo gaming and immersive games. I've bought then sold, then bought again and about to sell again the Wii because I find it just doesn't hold my attention for as long as the Xbox and can be irritating. Overall, Wii= occasional, fun gaming. Xbox= graphically superior, satisfying and rich games. All just my humble opinion of course!
