My Italian in-laws are visiting with their 15 month old, looking for advice on a pub for a drink late this afternoon and somewhere for dinner this evening that will be suitable to take him to...with nice atmosphere and food. I'm familiar with lots of the local places but not with a baby! I'm trying to think of somewhere with a bit of space as he likes to toddle around a bit. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Every morning on the number 40 bus towards Aldgate ( early, about 7.10 ) there is a woman who sits in the same seat upstairs ( on the left, about four from the back ) who takes out her book and an apple. She eats approximately half the apple then places it on the floor near her feet. The half eaten apple rolls around the floor of the bus while she continues reading her novel. EVERY MORNING! I was just working up to a confrontation when I stopped needing to take the 40. Bet she still does it. She, in my opinion, is a disgusting litterer.

I saw two men taking the bins from North Cross Rd flats/houses on Monday evening. They seemed to be filling them up with old building materials from the house next to Emily's Fish Bar and depositing them around the corner on Ulverscroft Rd. I retrieved our two missing bins today.
