The playgroup is held in the bright and spacious church hall with a wide selection of toys available for the children to play with and a time spent singing nursery rhymes at the close. A thanksgiving service for the life of Florrie Cocks (b.1923 - d.2019), playschool leader at Honor Oak Baptist Church (HOBC) from 1967 - 1994 will be held at HOBC, Forest Hill Road, SE22 0SG on Saturday 1 February at 3.00pm Miss Florrie ran the playschool group held in the former church hall on Mundania Road from 1967 for 27 years and was also involved in the church Sunday School and running of Imps - part of the Boys' Brigade.
