Another recommendation for Rob. He's recently cleaned and repointed by house on Upland Road. He even gave my bay and soffit's a tidy up coat of without any extra cost. Clean and tidy and excellent communication throughout the job. Highly recommended.

Wanted: Electrician for small jobs:- lighting, lamps
nharrod replied to Nigello's topic in Request a Tradesperson
Its got to be Mark Best, he's on the forum (BestElectrics) along with plenty of other recommendations for his work. He knows his stuff, reasonably priced and he's a thoroughly nice chap too. There's a lot of dodgy sparkies out there, as I work in the building industry I can say that, and he's been a great find for me. Call him on 07547031593 -
I looked around for ages, meeting pretty much every specialist timber door company I found for a quote and ended up using Sash windows London ltd. I found them on check-a-trade where they have good feedback (they also have a show room in Clapham). Very happy with end product, top customer service and they came in cheaper having gone to the likes of Distinguish, Traditional window co, Woodland Products, Cotswood and of course London Door Co (difficult to be more expensive than them though). Happy to show quality and finish to any one whose looking, PM me for pics or a viewing. http://www.sashwindowslondonltd.co.uk/Timber.asp (020) 722 82346 [email protected]

Yet another recommendation for Mark Best ( BestElectrics on EDF ). He was punctional, reasonably priced, tidy and has very good knowledge (Qualified inspector). He came to fit new lighting and power in my cellar and patio and ended up saving me from a potential horror story left from the previous install, plus he has generously offered to fight my corner with the cowboys who carried it out. Top lad, cant recommended higher.

Another vote for Nerris, had him round today to sort a list of carpentry jobs I'd built up. He was punctual, as he was when he came round to quote, tidy and did a very professional job at a top price. Highly recommend him and I'll definately contact him again when I need more carpentry done.

Anyone whose seen the dulwich hospital over the last couple of months will know its being demolished, the giveaway being half of it being a pile of rubble.....as for whats going to replace it I have no idea but my guess would be more housing as the local press suggests the area is apparently desperate for more accomadation. Anyone know anymore?
