Hope you had luck. We had one put in and Conway the comedians deployed by Southwark, actually put a dropped kerb in smaller than a car! So that's a fat wad of cash to the council and weeks chasing them down to rectify the problem! I think Con-Way couldn't be arsed to dig up a small drain...

Santa's Christmas parade 19th December 12pm onwards

Trouble with this country. Too many louises being miserable and forgetting how to smile and generally being sour. Good on you monica for adding some Christmas spirit for once! Louise, grab a mince pie cover yourself in tinsel and crack open a smile. You may actually enjoy it once you get out of your car and let doris pass -
Remember few years back when lived on EDG. All our Lovefilms went missing. Complained and wrote to PO. They responded with 5 letters all exactly the same but with different signatures. Basically just let them shall we say 'go missing' and did nothing, left me to try and convince Lovefilm that they didn't arrive. Never happenned in Brockley or Nunhead. Rubbish

um dont really think the police will do much about it, call me a sceptic -
Been posting prints out and they are taking on average 3-4 weeks on a first class signed for delivery - pointless complaining as the Post Office are a bunch of .................... (fill in gap)

Ralphation "Great pub but I'd give the pub a miss - it really drags on. It feels like an hour between rounds." Is that a trick answer...and you manage to keep your pint for an hour - impressive....

In 15 years from now you can get even clearer. I have created a print of LL in 2009. Shows all the shops and business from goose green to northcross. Have a look on my link in for sale section. Limited Edition print.... Captures the memories present and future.

Post Office queue - a different view of East Dulwich
viclee replied to Reg Smeeton's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Bit of a tricky one that seeing as so many people travel to ED. Can you say anyone there is a true representation. For me its the people that work in ED. They are there more than any other person, apart from the bugaboo brigade, and remember ED is not just Lordship Lane. As everyone who has lived in Ed says - Its changed. And its the people that change it, not the place. Smile say hello and get to know your neighbours, or alternatively sit behind a computer and smile at a screen and say hello, its a start.
