  1. hi there - only a recommendation for piano: Nick Worrall. He has been teaching my daughter and two of her friends for a few years now and they love their lessons with him. Don't know what his current availably etc. is like but here's his email just in case: [email protected] best wishes Rebecca
  2. McAlpine Dance Studio in Longfield Hall, Camberwell. A friend of mine goes on Friday mornings, but there may be other sessions too. http://www.mcalpinedance.com
  3. hello all, we have an Austrian au pair who has also just arrived and would love to meet others. Mrs2013 I sent you her number by pm for the Whatsapp group if that is going ahead. Re language schools: our au pair last year went to a school in Clapham called ELT and really liked it. www.elt-online.co.uk Rebecca
  4. we had my daughter's 8th birthday part at Captured on the Rye - and as other posters have said, it's a brilliant party idea. Lou was great with the children and has more tolerance for 8 hyperactive 5-8 year olds than most people, including myself...I loved the designs the children came up with and it's great for them to be able to take their own creation home at the end of the party.
  5. not in ED but the Mulberry Centre (the new One o'Clock building in Myatt's Fields Park) in Camberwell is a great venue for children's parties. It gets pretty booked up but you can contact Kasia, the park manager, at [email protected] to see if they still have a slot on that day. There is also a website http://www.myattsfieldspark.info - the hire form for the Mulberry Centre can be downloaded from there.
  6. agree with other posters - Andy and his colleague did a very good job clearing our gutters and installing pigeon spikes - horrible job quite frankly as the pigeons had done their worst on our roof! Very friendly and efficient.
