  1. Hello - I know it's a bit late in the day, but does anyone fancy meeting up this afternoon? I need to return a library book to Dulwich Library so could head to the park there, or back down to Peckham if anyone fancies it :) Susie x
  2. We've got the health visitor in the afternoon and it usually takes a good couple of hours of waiting...if we get out in good time we'll join you - otherwise, see you next week! Have fun Susie & Cleo x
  3. Just read Nat's post...will come & find you after lunch! Sx
  4. I'm on my way back to Peckham from swimming- I'll head to the cafe in Peckham park for lunch if anyone wants to join me. I'll be there at about 1. Then maybe see some of you in the park for walk/soaking up the sun :) Can head to the picnic no-dogs area after lunch, if it's not too waterlogged! Sx
  5. Park in sunshine sounds great! We can prob get to Peckham rye for 1ish, and 1.30 or so for dulwich park- happy to find you wherever you are. S x
  6. Hi all, hope you & babies are fine. How was Peckham soft play the other week- worth another trip? We have swimming on Thursday mornings now & Cleo was so tired afterwards we went straight home, but am hoping we'll be able to come out this afternoon if there's a plan. Is anyone meeting up? Maybe the Peckham one o'clock club? Only night I can't do for a night put is 29 March :) Susie x
  7. Hi all, I can't make tomorrow but have fun if you go...maybe we could do it next week aswell? I was away a couple of weeks ago and at the health visitor last week so haven't seen you for ages...looking forward to catching up. Fernanda, I hope Joe is better! And good luck with the interview Natalie! Susie x
  8. Morning, hope everyone's well. Cleo & I both have a cold so we probably won't make it - sorry to miss you as it was good to see everyone last week! Hope the stay & play is fun. Susie X
  9. Hello - I'm up for meeting tomorrow, earlier is better for me as I need to be home at 4ish, so I don't think I'll make it to the Clockhouse - sorry to miss you Natalie. I can get to the Old Nun's Head easily, tho I haven't been since my previous existence as a non-parent! Cleo and I could be there for 1.30. Hope Maddie is feeling better Jude! Susie
  10. I hadn't realised but I've double booked and am out for dinner tonight, but we're meeting for drinks first in the EDT so hopefully at least get to say hello! All depends on bedtimes tonight tho, might not be out until late...have fun. S x

  13. Hi all, I've only made it to one Thursday meet-up ages ago, but have met a few of you at Weds baby massage! (which I miss loads). Would be lovely to catch up this Thursday if there's a plan...maybe the Plough or is that too far away? Susie
  14. Hi all, I'm afraid I won't make it to the clockhouse this morning - have fun though and see you soon. suze
  15. Hi Hannah, yes I'll be there and quite a few others I think. We had baby massage there yesterday, it was great. I'm becoming a bit of a regular there now :) Agree with you about the rain... S x
  16. The Ecover stain remover, with a red lid, works wonders - I use it on everything!
  17. Hi all, lovely to meet you and the little ones the other week! I'm up for meeting this Thursday definitely - same time, 12 at the Clockhouse? I'll try to make it on Tuesday too - is that the 1pm meeting at/near the Rye cafe? Deseree - no worries about racing off, I think it's impossible to predict timings with a young baby (it is for me anyway!). See you soon, Suze x
  18. Hello, I'm hoping to come to the Clockhouse today at around 12 to meet whoever is there - feeding is still a bit unpredictable at the moment tho so it might have to be next week!
  19. Bex, I'd love to come along the next time you have a meet-up, I had my little girl at the end of April. I'm hoping to meet up with the spring babies group too. I missed all my antenatal classes as our daughter arrived quite early, so this would be a great chance to meet other first time mums! Congrats to everyone on their new arrivals :)
  20. Hi all, congratulations on all the spring babies :) I've only just found this thread and am really pleased, it would be great to meet other local mums. Plus I'm not too far from the Clockhouse - tho won't make today's lunch as I'm still in the cabin-fever stage of feeding, sleeping and washing. I was due in early June but my daughter arrived at the end of April - took us by surprise! I never heard back about NHS antenatal classes, and I missed the NCT ones as baby and I were in hospital for 10 days (all fine now, thankfully). It would be nice to come along and meet some of you and your little ones in the not too distant future. Hope you are all enjoying the early days X
  21. We've just had our bathroom redone and I can wholeheartedly recommend the plumber who did the work - Stephen Viccary. The finished bathroom is great, it looks neat and really well-finished despite the fact that our flat is so wonky there isn't a right-angle in the place. And most importantly, everything works fine. He was happy to come back to see to the new fan he installed when I couldn't get it to work, and told me to call him again if there were any issues with anything. Stephen was up-front and honest, and offered good advice when we were faced with decisions if things went wrong (damp found over the ceiling etc). He had great attention to detail too, so everything has been done really nicely - no gaps or pipes visible. He listened to what we wanted and advised us whether it was do-able, and suggested alternatives if not. Definitely get him in for a quote if you're thinking of doing your bathroom - he's on 07941 266145.
  22. Yep, Riverford get my vote too! I've been getting their mini fruit & veg box for a couple of years, and it's consistently good quality and varied fruit and veg. I live up a steep hill and they've never missed a delivery, even in all the ice and snow last year. The box includes four or five recipes a week too. http://www.riverford.co.uk/
