Item given to one of my wife's carers. I am sure you will be aware that very few of them have cars and they are always under pressure to deliver a service to their clients. They have to use public transport or walk This totally precludes them from delivery functions, as time constrictions would not permit. I would not have the audacity even ask one of them to act as a postie. Amazon did inform me that a full credit would be issued to Emily Palmer. -

Our property suffered from subsidence. Arranged a structural survey report, which made a considerable saving on the premium. I insured via a broker called Adrian Flux, who gave me the best quote for buildings insurance. Suggest you contact them Good luck.

Any waste disposal requirements, phone Paul at Knight & Sons waste disposal. Came at time agreed, quickly loaded my waste items, charged a very reasonable price and left area clean and tidy. KNIGHT & SONS 07985 104027.Highly recommended. -

Phoned Dave Bassom carpet fitter last Thursday 13/01/22,recommended on EDF. Dave agreed to call Friday PM 14/01/22. Dave arrived at 2PM, as agreed and measured for my carpet and underlay requirements. I Ordered Friday PM from Online carpets. All in stock delivered Tuesday AM. Phoned Dave, who lucky for me had a cancellation, as carpet for his client had not been delivered. Dave said he could do the job the following day. Wednesday 19/01/22,today. Dave called at 10.AM fitted underlay and carpet for hallway and sitting room. He did an absolutely fabulous job at an incredibly reasonable price. Royal Mail..parcels not being delivered

Forty-Eight hour tracked signed for package, sent from Manchester area. On checking the tracking number, it informs me that is was deposited at the post office at 17:24 on November 30, 2021 and that Royal mail have the package. They forgot to add, we will be keeping it !! Only three posted Christmas cards received very early December, normally receive about thirty by now. Also expecting Visa Card statement, will probably have late payment fee and interest to pay when it arrives and this is caused by Royal Mail. What chance have I to claim these charges from Royal Mail? Should the government or Her Majesty instruct Royal Mail to remove the word Royal, from Royal Mail. The insulting delivery problems should force them to remove Royal, this is an embarrassment This is a private / public company, nothing to do with Royal. Rant over!!

My wife and me have a two bedroom flat and our total bill for last year with a water meter was ?303.70, this equates to ?25.31 per month. I believe ?40.00 per month is much much higher than it should be.Your annual bill of ?480.00 per annum is extortionate. I would insist that you get Thames Water to install a meter.

I read somewhere on the Internet that channels 4 and 5 had a problem at their studios over the week-end and were in fact of air completely for sometime. I believe it may have been a fire.

Hi Foxy, Caters was in fact in the Arcade, at the top as you walked up from Rye Lane, turn left there was Caters, famous for selling broken biscuits cheaply. Next door was Fox's fresh fish shop. I used to collect news papers from neighbours on Saturday morning in a wheelbarrow, deliver them to Mr Fox, who paid me one and six for them (Eighteen old pence) The pet shop I also remember I bought a Labrador Collie cross from there in the early seventies, he lived to the age of eighteen.
