  1. Looking for someone to do an assessment of my 8 year old's learning. We suspect dyscalculia and maybe some other difficulties. Does anyone know of a kind and warm person who can assess her? We will do it privately as we no longer live in the UK. Thank you.
  2. My daughter was in reception at the camplin Street school last year. It's a great school. She was very very happy and learnt a lot. She'd be waiting at the door in the morning to go to school. There was a real buzz after they moved back to the camplin site and pride to be part of it. It's quite strict and very focused on literacy but there's also an emphasis on music as the kids get older. The staff really care about the kids. And they teach the kids to care about each other. Older children help with learning etc.Communications with parents could be better but if we were to move back to London I'd definitely be wanting my daughters to go back to htg.
  3. Thanks . Interdean have messed me around. Will try cris pop

  5. I am about to move abroad for work with 5.5 and 3.5 yo. Foreign language etc. I think kids this age find a lot easier than us to cope with change. They might be unsettled in very short term but long term better for them
  6. I had terrible experience with riverford.perhaps a one off but felt threatened and cheated.
  7. In my experience women are often those with the most negative attitude towards working mums.
  8. Has anyone done this? Any tips? Best way to find a place to live? Agency fees are crazy, rents too. Our school will be in mamer.that's outside town so looking at Western and bonnevoie areas.any tips would be fab.

  10. i agree. you could also factor in your holidays accrued during mat leave. i personally would think twice about giving too much notice. Cirumstances change, they might offer you another opportunity etc
