Dear James, I know there have been some threads here already regarding the cycle lane disquised as a pavement. Not only do pedestrians not realise its a cycle lane. The lane is also very slippery and in incorrect colour. Is there any government guidance/rules on what colours/materials cycle lanes should be made off/painted with? I would be very interested to know. Even though there may not have been many complaints prior to this being build, I believe if people knew what was coming there would be more then enough answers. This design is totally crazy. How many complaints does the council need to do something about this? I would really appreciate your response. Thank you jitka

its awful, no idea what happened though. So worrying with so many cars crashing onto pavements around here.

ok the cyclist discussion. I don't jump red lights and as a cyclist, did almost get knocked over by a cyclist going through red when I was actually walking across a zebra crossing. He was going v. fast! I agree, there are good and bad but all people should obide the rules! That would be a perfect world. Yesterday, I very nearly, by few inches, got missed by a speeding car jumping red light, scared the life out of me! Anyway, I hope the injured person is ok now.

as a fellow cyclist, I agree with Sandperson. Both my hands are not enough to count how many drivers jump red lights in 45 mins that I am on my bike. Whatever happened there I hope that the person makes it, the policeman said its touch and go.

hi, the strike might be a reason. We had a same problem and when went to check out the collection office the guy told us that they were going to be delivering on Sunday due to the strike that week. No cards were left and they had a 14 day backlog. Hope this helps JH
