  1. I can’t recommend Groundteam highly enough. They have recently finished landscaping my patio. The attention to detail is superb!! https://groundteam.co.uk Led by Rene who creates your initial quote, they worked to time and within budget, respecting my home and neighbours, tidying up at the end of every day.

  3. My patio brief was a challenge, I had in situ paving slabs but not enough, so Rene helped me choose the right materials to augment what I had without blowing my modest budget. He made recommendations, showed me samples and they all worked with me every step of the way. The team have been together for years and it shows. The pride they take in every detail shows through, both in the recommendations made and the quality of the final deliverable. I found them via a neighbour on my street, who also had very positive feedback and happily recommended them to me. If you need landscaping, they should be on your list of people to call.
  4. I would advise renting a zip van. It does come apart but the main section is too long for a standard car. I’m off Forest Hill road by the Watson’s general telegraph
  5. Measures 210x90cm The base is slatted which is why it’s so comfortable for sleeping on
  6. Vintage Habitat day bed. Comfy enough to sleep on. Removable covers. You will need to rent a van to collect. se22. £80 or nearest offer measures 210cm x 90cm The base is slatted which is why it’s so comfortable for sleeping on
  7. Another recommendation for Colin. He has been great. A very safe pair of hands. He's precise, detail oriented, great communicator. Lovely to work with as I worked out what I wanted done.
  8. Posting this for a friend and hoping it’s in the right part of the forum…
  9. This crisis has caused major disruption to business: learn how to quickly pivot and adapt so you can stay afloat. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/business-innovation-in-crisis-three-part-workshop-series-donations-to-who-tickets-100677247357
  10. Legend - first date scene in the nightclub is The Ivyhouse https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3569230/

  12. Is there a filmed in our area thread? Just found Boyzone - Picture of you video (featuring Mr Bean) was filmed on Therapia Road! Would love to know what else was made in our area :)
  13. Anyone know who to ask for a green roof? We are thinking meadow vs sedum. We have a flat roofed shed that?s perfect for one. Recommendations or suppliers direct please. Thanks
  14. Hi all, I have a wood burning stove that needs fitting. I will need the chimney lined at the same time. Does anyone know of a company or individual they would recommend? Thanks
  15. If you park there on the 'odd' occasion, what's to stop other people parking there on the 'odd' occasion? Very quickly those 14 spaces start to fill up, then the frazzled mums end up near the recycling. 14 bays is a very small percentage of the overall parking available. Sainsburys obviously feel the need to bring in fines, as there are a lot of people ignoring the signs.
  16. Nunhead for sure. Look around Ivydale Road. Huge houses compared to East Dulwich for the price. Ivydale School. The Dish and the Spoon Cafe and Washboard drycleaners. East Dulwich is just a walk across the park, so you can head out to Lordship Lane and get the bus back or walk!
  17. We have a door curtain. It keeps the house warm and covers up the letterbox at the same time. :))
  18. My daughter had loads of problems with food. Intolerance rather than allergy, but it resulted in acid reflux that caused pain. We thought Kings were brilliant! The doctor will need to refer you and it takes a while to be seen. Your doctor is probably thinking jar food won't have any cross contamination from whatever else you cook in your kitchen. If your baby is getting swelling as a reaction it is best to play safe and only get single jar foods, or if you cook yourself, make sure you keep the area clear of other food stuffs. My daughter had problems with tomatoes, potatoes, bananas, onions, cauliflower, dairy, soya. Plus more obscure things like brussel sprouts. I am happy to say she is fine now and eats school dinners! I would go for the least allergenic foods first rice, pear, carrots, avocado, then lamb and chicken when you get into meats.
  19. They will. Although you need to look for BC Bikes as the name changed a while back. They seem to fix anything tyre shaped, buggy or bike!
  20. We think it's brilliant! What a good use of space. Before you started the exhibits and franks bar I would never have gone near the car park. Just didn't feel safe. Now I have friends from North London who have heard about it and want to come. Please carry it on next year. Can you get funding to make the access (stairs and lifts) more pleasant - that's biggest down side.
