  1. I have just reposted on the family classified section as well, as I am struggling to get any responces... I understand this is the ED forum, but we have just moved to Catford and I am struggling finding a childminder there. We love our current childminder in Peckham, but unfortunately can't make it work now we have moved. Do you know any childminders in the Hither Green/Catford area you can recommend? Our daughter is just over two. Thank you!
  2. Hi. I started a blog about food after my daughter was born and have a few ideas on finger food and Baby Led Weaning. I have not been great with updating since I went back to work, but it may give you a couple of ideas.. http://bighungryfamily.blogspot.co.uk/2011/07/sweet-potato-cinnamon-chips-blw.html Thanks
  3. Nadia was fantastic. Not too many poses - just took documentary pictures. http://www.nadiaattura.com/
  4. Sorry to jump onto thread, but does anyone know much about the ravensbourne side of beckenham? What are schools, nurseries, shops etc like? Looking to move to somewhere more affordable... Thanks!
  5. I should just mention that though Nadia did an amazing shoot for our family she also does other things too, like weddings, fashion etc and it all looks great! :)
  6. Hi Family roomers, I just wanted to recommend a photographer that did our family photo's just before christmas. Her pictures are amazing, she spent 2 hours with us in the park and we then got a dvd with loads of pictures in high resolution sent to us a few weeks later. Here is her website http://www.nadiaattura.com/ She also does weddings and portraits etc. Thanks
  7. You could do some chicken satay on the side?
  8. I grew up in Greece and though not Greek, these italian bicuits were such a treat for me. I discovered they sell them in the Turkish shop on LL (by cafe Nero). Perfect for dunking too!
  9. I read this article earlier this week http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2012/nov/10/sex-marathon-couples-revisited I m not sure I agree with it fully, as you don't want sex to just become a chore in the relationship, but I do think it is based on the principal of making it a habit and therefore part of the routine of the relationship. I agree with all the previous posts in that it is just difficult after you have kids, but I do think it is worth making the effort once every *however often you feel you should do*. I am not going to go into further detail, as I am posting under my actual forum name too...
  10. Saw this article in the Guardian if anyone is interested... http://www.guardian.co.uk/travel/2012/oct/26/cheap-skiing-holidays-czech-republic

  21. So we seem to have formed a small group. Shall we try and organise a coffee one day? I work full time, so can only really do weekends. Is anyone free any upcoming weekends? I feel I should be writting this in Greek to start practicing! :)
  22. Hi! Thanks for the responce and bumping the post again. I didnt find anything in the end. We read greek books and listen to Greek CD's, talk to family on Skype etc, but there is no consistent 'conversation' in Greek. I would still be quite interested in meeting up and also practicing my own Greek - have lived here for more than 10 years and I m losing my vocab and accent...! :(
  23. My 18th month old started playing up last week with toothbrushing. I found asking her cuddly toy friend to do it for her, ie hold the toothbrush with bunny, monkey or teddy's hands works really well...
  24. Was planning to come - had a reminder in diary and all - but have had a nasty cold for a few days. :( Next time, I hope...
