  4. I must admit I got "bitten" just before Christmas, was in need of pressie idea for better half, charity was always an option, but I got a knock on the door from somebody representing Battersea Cats and Dogs-remember these people DO NOT work for said charity but represent, anyways I knew our cat had a week or so left before she needed to go to sleep so seemed the prime choice. Great idea, or so I thought. They have obviously sold their mail list as I have never been so inundated with spam calls/texts/emails. Never again. And cat went to sleep the Monday before Christmas.
  5. When you say "asking for money" do you mean asking to sign up to a direct debit subscription ? Reason these doorstep chuggers come at that time is there is 90% more chance of people being in than at say 4pm

  10. 49.43 compared to 35.28 for Heybridge
  11. Ah, just noticed it's not on our facebook group page-now rectified
  12. Brilliant TDR -Is that by Shakespeare ? -No, it's by Sainsburys Absolute classic line !!
  13. There are plans afoot to build a 20 storey building on the site of Aylesham Centre/Morrisons. Please take a couple of minutes to read this and sign if willing. Cheers https://www.change.org/p/protect-peckham-s-rooftop-view
  14. certainly sounded like a professional display, they weren't run of the mill local shop bought that's for sure.
  15. no you didn't
  16. Fair enough James. Southwark Council can only, realistically, lodge formal reports for breach unless a council employee goes and checks every day. I'm sure Council tax payers will find that outrageous
  17. http://dhst.org.uk/ask-the-experts-on-fan-ownership-thursday-15-january/
  18. St Francis Park has nothing to do with Southwark Council, Sainsburys own the land, they don't open until 11 on a Sunday hence why it's not open
  19. Licence to serve off bar is being looked into, I know we had off bar sales previously but whether it was licenced is another matter
  20. that's how I imagine you *rubs knees
  21. we stewards are being urged to clamp down on off ground beer purchases so do us a favour and ask for a plastic cup from the bar- I know I shouldn't say this but it's not realistic to "police" and we are health and safety stewards not force stewards. We appreciate your help and co-operation Comments re pre pulling pints is great however to do so would mean lack of choice, 1 lager, 1 bitter and Guinness if you guys are happy with that I will propose it, makes our lives easier
  22. Just keep the main bar corridor clear, people will be moved
