Hi all, I've seen a few requests for gardeners recently and we just had our garden landscaped by a local guy called Sylvain, so I'd like to recommend him. He, and his assistant Kieran, removed a lot of turf, built raised beds, put a new fence up, did some great paving work, built a decking area in our courtyard - all of which we're very happy with. His number is 07545 233 110. He was extremely nice, worked tidily and communicated very well. All the work was carried out to a very high standard but if I was forced to pick out what I thought they were best at it would be the paving. Don't have the right photos to show but it's all beautifully laid and sweeps round the side of the house, connecting the garden and courtyard. I had Chris and dan round just now to fix some various problems, including an ongoing problem we've had for three years that no other plumbers could work out. We had a little trouble getting them round initially, but they gave us a discount for our troubles. I do feel they need to be a little better organised (nod to the post above) but I'd much prefer to have honest, hardworking and trustworthy local guys than a well oiled larger firm that are only after your money.
