  1. I flew BA to LA a few months ago with my then 18 month old daughter. I emailed BA before hand and got a very unhelpful response just telling me what is on their website and doesn't answer the question about whether they can provide cow's milk for children.

As I was flying business class I took the chance that they would have some for me and they did, however I was made to feel like it was a difficulty for them and an unusual request. They also didn't provide any food for her (although she didn't have her own seat, so kind of understandable)

I would advise it'a probably best to buy some milk once through security and then ask them to refrigerate it for you in the plane and take lots of snacks.

  2. I'm trying to find a pregnancy pilates clas, Frankie29 where abouts in the City did you do yours? I tried yoga at JAGS the first time round, but found it a bit boring (maybe used the class I went to?). JAGS used to do a pregnancy aerobics class which was great, but that seems to have stopped. I definitely want to do something though.

Strawbs, I agree an NCT refresher would be great for meeting some other mums as I made some lovely friends on my first course, but I don't think my hubby would be too excited to go along again! I made some great friends on the Spring babies thread a couple of years ago that I still see regularly, so hopefully won't feel the need to do NCT as well this time.

  3. Our cleaner is brilliant. She does 3 and a half hours a week and in that time irons at least 5 shirts and cleans a 4 bedroom house. I have a 7 month old baby and she manages to work around us just fine.

She works for an agency, I've had a few of their other cleaners when ours has been on holiday and they are ok, not always as good, but that might be because they are just doing at one off job for me. The lady that runs the agency is really helpful, so when I've had a problem with the cleaning I've just emailed her. Much easier than having to tell the cleaner!

If you would like me to send you the details of the agency then PM me.

  4. I'm currently doing baby swimming at Guy's hospital using Little Dippers, as are a few other Spring Babies. Amelie and I are both enjoying it. The pool is lovely and warm and the changing facilities are great. The classes book up really quickly but if you check their website frequently they are always adding new ones.

For our lessons amelie has to wear Huggies swim nappies (Boots and Sainsbury sell them) and then swim pants over the top (Little Dippers send you some if you are on their course).
