  1. I could not recommend Tom Gibson enough, I have used him for a complete refurbishment of my new house. (second time round!) The ground floor was ripped out to bare brick and we extended into the integral garage to make the kitchen/dinner bigger. He did all the general building and did all the specialised carpentry and kitchen was hand built on site. Tom Gibson, (07710 779819) Superb work.
  2. After a week of stress and worry, I am very pleased to say that Limi just arrived home, he is a little skinny but other than that he seems to be just fine. We will go for a check up to the Vets next week. I think, as predicted, he got stuck in someone's house who went away for a the week. So whoever discovered Limi in their house thank you for not going away too long! Apologies also for the inconvenience. The family is complete again. Thanks to those who kept their eyes peeled. Thank you!

  4. No, I have not, I will do that now. Thanks
  5. Dear EDF Readers, On the 28th July our lovely and very friendly siamese cat named Limi went missing from our home on Forest Hill Road / Rydale corner. He is well known along Ryedale as he visits many of the neighbours and is very friendly, maybe too friendly for some. He is a white/grey/beige shade of colour, short hair, striking features and blue eyes, he's just adorable. He is chipped with Janine's contact details, and is has a brown collar with bell and magnetic door entry pendant. If you have seen him roaming around, please let me know ASAP, I am saddened to hear of the horrible things that someone is doing to cats at the moment. I hope he is safe. Best case scenario is that he is in someones house and the owners are on holiday. Fingers crossed. Please let us know if you have any news! I edit this message to say image attached, Limi curled up with our daughter. :( Thank you Rod

Edit to attach image of Limi, here he is with my daughter curled up together. Here is link to the lost message i just wrote on the forum: http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?31,1709760 Thank you,

  10. I have tried to work in coffee shops all over our local area over the years, you will be surprised how hard it can be to get some work done in this type of environment. I am confident that desk rentals and coworking offices as whole will help relive some of the highly demanded seats at Cafe Nero SE22.
  11. If you feel these laptop squatters need a place to work, inform them that there local desk rental opportunities out there. Anyone looking for a permanent dedicated desk to rent please look here: http://www.creativedesksltd.com
  12. Old French Cafe property went back to the land lady who wants it back for general repairs. My feeling is that it is a way to get the property back tart it up and put it back on the market with a higher rent. Laundrette & Bookies no idea. In Peckham: I am opening up a co-working office for like minded creative types, looking for web designers, illustrators, graphics, film editors and architects etc... please do pass on the info if you know anyone looking. www.creativedesksltd.com Thanks R.
  13. All the way to the village, wow that's more than a local substation.
  14. Power cut on Forest Hill Road, where did it reach to?
  15. I rarely make recommendations here on the forum, but for Des I must. I have not met a more trust worthy individual to be left in my house to work and to top it off the work he did in our house was excellent. After chatting a bit we released our kids are a similar age and at the same school in E.D., so true to the point that he is local and not in the neighbouring areas or further a field. I like him very much and will only use Des for any painting decorating needs from now on, highly recommended.
  16. I have just been to Emmanuelle Shoes today and I was impressed! The range is unique and the colors are great. Dorothy really understand the service that she offers, she is great. We have bought from her before and we will go back to her again.
  17. Been watching the traffic on Forest Hill Road from my window, slow steady traffic, it is moving but very slushy, no signs of the 63 at all.
  18. Do not leave anything made from any metal out side. I was replacing the kitchen sink and left it out to take it out to the refuse the next morning, which I then found that I did not need to go anymore. Metal is good money, I have started to take all my scrap metal from various jobs around the house to the metal scrap place in Nunhead. Bought our place in auction so was left with various bits and bobs that I cashed in, which paid for a full clean at the hand car wash!
  19. Well the councils dogs department collected him and took him to Battersea Dogs Home. I feel so sad but with a 6 month baby boy we are already stretched. So could not continue to look after him. We will pop round to see how he is on Saturday. I hope he is okay.
  20. Thank you for the phone numbers, we will work this out all in the morning.
  21. Found a white dog (cross terrier, we think) looking very lost in the heavy rail today around 1pm. Called the authorities to take him to Battersea but they are full. Wanted to let local residents know we found him and have him safely at our house. If you know of a neighbor who has lost a dog, please let them know we might have him! I can send images to anyone who wants to know who we have. I hope to find the owner as he is a lovely, and the owner must be very upset. Thanks
  22. Why does that local supermarket co-op? have a those metal cage trolleys out side? Thats horrible.
  23. what do you have in mind of doing there? I agree, please do make it nice.
  24. Okay not in e.dulwich but image attach, it happens everywhere, this was up in OLD Street. CCTV camera car on a double yellow! Who do councils think they are? Above the law, then they enforce it?
  25. I have just bought a flat on the Forest Hill Road, and I would very much like to see the 63 link up with the future Honor Oak East London Line extension. Great idea.
