    I don't have a problem with it if it means speed bumps will be removed. Don't see how it will be policed, though; I frequent East Dulwich Rd on a regular basis in the early morning which seems to make drivers think they can go at about 50 mph and nary a copper around.

    Hurrah - two of the moorhen chicks in the Japanese Garden are still alive. PS - if it turns out to be wrens, you have very keen eyesight L. I've never noticed them having a white bit. PPS - binoculars on Chrissie list.

    Little to tell. A little quirk of mine, I like to look at it most days and see how accurate it is. There is a squiggly graph at the bottom which tells you how much time to add or subtract depending on the month. Using the graph, it was pretty accurate until the clocks went forward. Now it's way out, man.

    The collie seemed bored by the whole process. It was definitely the chap who was communing with the trees.

    Can't be as weird as the guy with the border collie who seems to pray to trees every day. Quite spooked me when I first came across him.

    None left after the Easter weekend! Hope the goslings fare better when they come. Anyone know why the sun dial in The Sexby Gardens seems to be set on winter time? One would have thought it would have more application in the summer!

    If you are concerned you may be a target, it's worth carrying a cheap/non-working mobile and an old wallet/purse with a few coins and dud cards in so you can hand those over with no fuss.

To mix metaphors, sometimes I think Admin, instead of banning, gives them just enough rope to hang themselves. This forum is pretty good at self-censure.
