Thanks Brum. This is exactly the sort of bloke East Dulwich needs. Station Manager bloke must be up there with all his good works and female fans. One guy I think should be in contention is the Rasta street cleaner I often see on Northcross/LL,he always makes me laugh but I do not have a photo or his name. MN

The only photo so far is not an East Dulwich resident and can not be accepted in the competition. Come on Brum lets have a photo. Ladymuck, when it comes to the Best Bloke in East Dulwich you must have a picture to paint.

A few years ago I was very unhappy in my job and stated on my CV when applying for other possitions that I enjoyed playing the ukelele as an interest outside of work. After over three years of failed applications I changed my CV to stating that I played the piano (Grade 8). I now have a great job and love playing the (my) piano, along with my children . Piano (in whatever form) every time.

Blocked road Underhill and Barry road
mothernature replied to Tarot's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Speed humps on Barry Road have been used in the past at this junction. They did not result in any reductions in accidents. The humps were removed after it was found that increased viabrations from heavy traffic were causing structural damage to buildings on Barry Road. I strongly suggest traffic lights.
