Dear Torben, don't talk such sense please. The ending of the SLL is because Boris supports North London and wants to see South London rot. That's the party line and we must not let facts blind us. By the way, does Jo Brand use the SLL? Marvellous!

And it is important to note, there are three routes for Bakerloo South. The third, and least favourite which is likely to fall off the map, would send it to Camberwell Green and south to East Dulwich. The two most popular will stop at Burgess Park, Peckham Rye and on to Lewisham. It's all part of making Peckham a strategic interchange. Dear people, this will test your support of Peckham. As the master plan is that everyone else will have to make a strategic change on their journeys to Central London. The plan shows it serves more travellers best.

Boris is not suggesting anything that Ken didn't suggest, in terms of the Bakerloo Line. Boris, like Ken, is suggesting that we study it and consider it for post 2020, so perhaps completed by 2025 or 2030. That is the exact same plan as Ken. What dear Alan fails to mention is the cluster of expensive properties in Camberwell are sheltered from the rot that is the main bit of Camberwell. Most of us avoid it at all costs. Then as backup, they used 'the N word' as comparison, but no one will even speak that word, opting for the phrase 'the N word'. Where most of these stations sit used to be Surrey, all while the original 'London' (south being Charing Cross and a bit on the other side) were being taken care of, as was right. Since London has creeped south, technology made tubes difficult, so suburban trains were the solution. Although I understand tunnelling in the clay is no longer the issue. One could propose trams? Oh that's right, Eileen fought tooth and nail against them in her last battle.

The result will inevitably be neighbourhood wars, as evidenced on this very website. 'TfL v South London' is not accurate. 'Labour v Boris' is telling, but not the main event. It is 'SLL v ELL'. The entertainment value alone is worth investing in a front row seat.

You live in East Dulwich for God's sake, you deserve it. Let's face it, those thousands living on stations to be improved by the ELL, well they do live on the wrong side of the tracks.
