I'm also doing nothing.
Maybe you & I should have joined Louisa, opened another bottle of malbec & had our own celebration!

It's Valentine's night!
I'm sure they both have better things to do than continue an argument on here that nobody is ever going to win.

Sorry I can't be much help. I have some vegetarian cookbooks you could've borrowed, but you will probably find a better selection of recipes on-line.
Good on you for doing your bit to make Valentines day special.
I hope you find something great to cook & have a lovely evening.

I've had two bad weekends and looking at the midweek fixtures, I think it's about to go from bad to worse!

Couldn't agree more. Warfarin causes a slow painful death. Does she really deserve this just because she has made the mistake of choosing to come out of the cold and nest in the attic?
I despair :(

Thanks for the invite EP.
I had a great evening.
It was lovely to meet you and other EDF friends for the first time.

The Peace of Wild Things
When despair grows in me
and I wake in the middle of the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children's lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting for their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.

It's ok Foxy. I think I'm meeting up with someone else first.
If not, I'm sure I'll recognise you.
There can't be too many foxes sitting at the bar wearing Millwall scarves!

Exactly my point.
The bike lane looks like a pavement so you cannot blame pedestrians that walk into it without looking. I've done it myself on more than one occasion.
And you are right hpsaucey, I don't have much of a sense of humour as far as cyclists are concerned.
I've been nearly run over by them too many times when crossing diagonally with the green man at traffic lights because a lot of them think the red light doesn't apply to them.

There are no zombies in Peckham.
Blame Southwark council for making the bike lane look like a pavement.
If you can't cope with it, I suggest you return to the planet you came from.

Wetherspoons would be the perfect choice especially with the large garden & situated on the main road.
I know that a lot of ED residents will disagree, but wouldn't that be better than replacing a soon to be non-existent establishment ( the local pub) with a block of flats?

RC,
Just have to congratulate you on your amazing amount of correct scores so far.
Do you have a crystal ball or is it just intuition?!

It wasn't 02.30.
I got off the 37 bus directly opposite at about 12.40am.
It was cordoned off and there were police at the scene.

I don't know if she came back, I just felt her and it had never happened to me before.
All I'm saying is don't be so disbelieving just because you haven't experienced it yet. Doesn't mean you never will.
Keep an open mind as you may one day be proved wrong, as I was, because until it happened to me, I didn't believe it either.
-
SJ,
Did you even read my post?
Stop being so defensive and be more patient x

Just because it hasn't happened to you yet, doesn't mean it won't.
I've been lucky in that everybody close to me is still alive, but when the worse happens I'll be comforted by the thought that they may come back.
My 13 year old cat was put to sleep at the vet 2008. A few days later I heard her scratching in her litter tray, then felt her pawing on my bed, circling to get comfortable & lay down.
I couldn't believe it at the time, but it was only the once and has never happened since.
So....
It can happen to anyone. Including you! x
