Sonos is excellent. Changes the way you listen to your music collection and radio. The new play:5 model has a cool compact look to it too.

Is it just me, or shouldn't they have closed the road all the way up to Archdale? That way all the stalls could face the road, there would be space for lots more stalls and it would be an even nicer attraction for ED?
Also agree about the fish stall. Great to have it, but really it is at the worst spot congestion wise. My Fishmonger, if you're reading this, please turn your stall round.

No, just in a raised bed in the garden.

About half of my tomatoes have ripened so far and the first few jars of chutney have been made. This week in particular the fruit has started to ripen at an increasing rate.
There are some great green tomato recipes around if your tomatoes don't ripen, made a few jars of it last year and it was delicious.

Greyhound is a nice pub but the food is average at best. Would go for Franklins.

Head down Turney Road then right along Rosendale andstraight over into the park if you want to avoid the junction.

I would suggest giving the Citizens Advice Bureau a call, they can help speak to the bailiffs on your behalf, but Im afraid your credit rating is indeed connected to the addresses you live at.

You don't need an agreement for a new wall as long as it is on your land. The advantage to your neighbour of agreeing to a new party wall is if they / future owners ever wanted to extend to it it is available for them. If you have built up to the party line (but remained on your side) they would have to leave a gap to prevent damp there by reducuicing the size on their side, if they didn't and damaged your wall they would be liable for damage.
Personally I'd suggest spending a few hundred quid with a lawyer to explain the situation.

My renewal quote is slightly down on last year.

I'm missing your point. In many countries this is the only legal bidding process and prevents buyers from having the pressure of continually increasing bids putting pressure on them to increase theirs. I for one would actually prefer a legally binding blind bid be th only allowed process, where by the accepted bid has to go through to closure.
As someone who was gazzumpee during open bids all the way up to exchange day on one particular property I would be appreciative of this kind of guarantee.

Does anyone know what happened in Hansler Road last night?
There were a couple of loud bangs and some shouting at about 21:20 followed by a couple of men hurrying off up the street. Twentry minutes later there were police going door to door and a police cordon around one of the houses towards Lordship Lane.
English language/ English Literature A-level

English Language A'level (at least when I did it 16 years ago) was a far more scientific course and really is a completely different beast to English Literature at this level. You will largely be doing a lot of work for high level grammatical structuring, a lot of text analysis similar to literature, but from the perspective of what and how people are trying to communicate rather than studying the literary merit. There was also a large focus on deconstructing speech phonetically including transcription.
From the other three subjects you're taking you may well find that English Language is a good fit for your interests, but then again, maybe you're looking for something that will provide some respite from all of the science subjects!
