  1. Barbie Dream House with car, pet camper, doll and some extra accessories. A few marks / cracks reflected in the price. Overall good condition. Collection only.
  2. Hello, I'm getting ready to launch a new home services business and I'm looking for help in finalising my terms & conditions. They're fairly wide-ranging to cover the breadth of services I will be offering (home checks, pet sitting, concierge services etc). I'd love to enlist the help of a local legal professional to help me. If you have experience in this area, or if you're a local business owner who's able to recommend someone I'd love to hear from you. Thanks so much. Bernie
  3. I had no idea about the changes until I read this thread though I've certainly noticed the negative effects this past week - slower journeys and overcrowding during rush hour. Many people rely on the frequency of the number 12 to get to to Peckham Rye to use the overground trains. I'm sure some people may say leave earlier to allow for the delays, though I know there are many parents who can't when you have to drop off to school or nursery in the mornings. Fine if you're lucky and have an understanding boss and flexible working though for those who don't it can be very stressful. Same goes for the journey home when many people will be rushing to make pick up on time.
  4. The chassis has been damaged with one of the wheels slightly unaligned. Does anyone know of any local repair centres? Many thanks!
  5. Does anyone know what's happened to Dulwich Ironing. I have used them on many occasions over the years though they recently collected a bag of clothes which were due to be dropped off a week ago. I can't get in touch by phone a there's no answer on either number and they haven't responded to my texts. I'm about to go on holiday and really do want my clothes back. I'm not sure if they're on holiday or perhaps someone is ill. If anyone has any knowledge of the company or has had a similar experience it would be great to hear. Thanks
  6. Nannies are great but generally the most expensive option. First Steps Montessori was a fab nursery for my first, they generally take little ones from 15/18 months, though my one didn't join until age 3. Childminders also good option. I hear YeeHaa on Friern Road v good. They're childminders but have staff so nice balance between childminder/ home environment and nursery for stimulation/socialising with other children.
  7. It's not a villa but a great family hotel. Princess Yaiza. Kids love it as do parents. Check out reviews online.
  8. It's a first floor window so ladder required. Great to hear of any recommendations. Many thanks
  9. I'd like to share a recommendation for a great painter and decorator. Zyggi's prices are reasonable and his finish is fantastic. He's a perfectionist and spends a lot of time on prep sanding and painting and sanding again. He usually takes slightly longer than planned though that's because he spends so much time getting it right. His details are: 07533854038 [email protected]
  10. I just had a lovely treatment with Shanie and now have super smooth feet. She's great working around my children. Quite nice having feet done in early days while I breastfed little one. www.themanipediwaxclub.com Email: [email protected]
  11. I'd like to recommend Martin Terebessy for landscaping work. He recently completed work in our front garden which included paving, building a wall and a lovely hardwood bike/bin store. I was really impressed with his work. Very friendly, efficient and he quoted a fair price. He does, decking, paving, brickwork, fencing, lawns - including artificial grass. Pretty much everything except for planting. His details are as follows Mobile: 07514 045 390 Email [email protected]
  12. Are you still looking for baby clothes? I have a big bag ready to go to a good home. Thanks. Please text me on 07725 052482 if you want them. Thanks.
  13. Hi James, Can I please ask if you checked out the wall on a Friern Road? Thanks, Bernie
  14. I've recently been in contact with Nicola because of the 4 month sleep regression. After suffering years of bad sleep with my first child I decided to take action this time. I too was concerned about doing this before 6 months. I chose to go ahead with one of the gentle forms of sleep training called gradual withdrawal. It does take longer, though fine with me as I wouldn't want to leave my baby alone crying. It's now night 11 and we've definitely made progress but still have a way to go. Must confess I haven't stuck to the programme at times as it's pretty hard not to cave in at 4/5am after being awake for hours listening to baby crying. Nicola has offered great support along the way. I'm hoping we will be in an even better place in a week or so. Good luck.
  15. I would like to join but am busy then. Will hopefully meet at the school gates.
