  1. I assumed incorrectly that *Bob* was referring to your hairy legs AC. If I had a 'lady purse' I can't imagine letting holly anywhere near it. Too prickily. Not even for Christmas.
  2. I've read some horrific things about Santander. Any others?
  3. Why would anyone want to measure uncertainty? Uncertainty is freedom. Without it everything would be certain. How boring would that be?
  4. No, not for that reason. My other half is Spanish and sometimes receives funds from Spain which go into our sterling a/c. But she also travels to Europe a fair bit and needs to carry euros. It would be handy to have an account to store euros in. But given what you require I believe Barclays will allow transfers from euro to current a/c without charges. Check out their website.
  5. Anyone know which banks do euro accounts in the UK? I see that Barclays do but only if you have a sterling account with them. Anyone else?
  6. Is there a slash missing ie S/HE?
  7. From what I read it could have been one of several things and much worse than an attack of nerves.
  8. Reports say she was having a mild stroke at the time so it's not really funny. ETA I'm not saying you are saying it's funny wjfox. When I saw it first I thought there was a problem with the recording
  9. Would you care to tell us why you are looking into it?
  10. You misunderstand me Nette.

  12. Are you a professional card player now kid?
  13. Annette, you may PM me your entry if you don't wish to disclose your tactics to DJ, unless of course custard cream is slang I don't understand. In which case please translate.

  15. Very clever PGC, but wasn't there a famous octopus who had a better record than certain members of the Forum?

What does that say I wonder? Your next fixtures are w/e 26th due to the FA Cup being this w/e. Remember you can't select a team you've already selected which means the following are excluded from your picks: DJ Everton & Birmingham AC Spurs & Arsenal (who aren't playing anyway) Keef Liverpool & Bolton Aston Villa V Blackburn 26 Feb 15:00 Everton V Sunderland 26 Feb 15:00 Newcastle V Bolton 26 Feb 15:00 Wigan V Man Utd 26 Feb 15:00 Wolves V Blackpool 26 Feb 15:00 West Ham V Liverpool 27 Feb 13:30 Man City V Fulham 27 Feb 15:00 Stoke City V West Brom 28 Feb 20:00

  24. Mick, my name.........it's like secret, ok?
  25. As excellent an idea as this might be, I don't think it is fair to expect Mr.Barber to pick up on a particular thread amongst many threads, when he has his own thread for specific questions for him.
