Having cautiously built up a 'fund' in my account I've blown almost it all with a run of bad results. I've put my last pennies on Celtic to win today. Luckily they are 2-0 up at HT. Question is if that comes through, do I continue rebuilding by putting it on Ireland to win the rugby?

Reasons for not wanting to go to a particular destination can include the driver wishing to head in the direction of his home and not in the opposite direction, and/or the degree of difficulty he may have in getting a 'return' fare from where ever you have taken him. As said above I'm sure the black cabs are obliged to take you if they have their light on in the front and so long as the destination is within x number of miles from the centre of London. if they refuse to you can always take their cab number and report them.

The Trust endorses the Executive's strategy of appealing to this audience to help secure the station's strong reach and healthy listening in the future. There is also lower listening amongst certain audience groups ? such as those living further away from London, and those from black and minority ethnic backgrounds. The BBC Executive has set out initiatives to broaden Radio 4's appeal amongst these groups. The Trust supports these initiatives, but asks the Executive to ensure that it does not alienate Radio 4's core listeners. Ah right. I've copied part of the text that concerns R4. I don't see anything wrong with it given the last sentence. The fact is if they don't try to gather a new audience, eventually they will have none. That actually doesn't really matter unless you want your enjoyment of the station to be passed on to another generation. In which case you have to find a way to attract new listeners. Given the last sentence of the above text, that's probably going to be quite difficult.
