Could anyone recommend a company to supply and fit a new PVC window? The only one I can think of is Bespoke Windows and they have a very long wait. Thanks.

Concert in St Catherine's Church, Telegraph Hill, SE15 5SG, on Tuesday 10 May, 7.30 pm, in aid of the Disaster Emergency Committee Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal. The City Chamber Choir, conducted by Stephen Jones, are performing Rachmaninov's All Night Vigil (more commonly known as Vespers - and it only lasts just over a hour, not all night!). It's a very good choir, based in central London, which is performing in south-east London thanks to persuasive local choir members. Tickets: ?10.00, ?5.00 concession (under-18s/students/unwaged); under-12s free. Buy online from www.ticketsource.co.uk/city-chamber-choir or at the door. www.citychamberchoir.org.uk

See recommendations for Steve Nourse above!

Another recommendation for Steve. He's just transformed our very stained stairs carpet. Nice, friendly, efficient.

It's my understanding that the Jarvis Road entrance was chosen as the nodal point for admissions not because it was the entrance to the proposed temporary school but because it's the furthest point from Charter Red Post Hill, thereby reducing any potential overlap of catchment area.

Does he not realise that if we need extra primary places in this area, then very soon we are going to need extra secondary places? -
Could anyone recommend a dance class suitable for a 4 year old? I've seen recommendations for ballet classes but I don't think that would really be her thing. I was wondering if something existed that taught all sorts of dance, the livelier the better! Thanks for any advice.

If anyone is looking for a piano or recorder teacher, I recommend Sue Klein. She's been teaching my son for 2 years now and he is making great progess. She's based in East Dulwich - 020 8299 3096 or 07835 508930. Frances

Thanks so much for this info! We went back this morning and they had found it. Phew!

We left it outside Peckham Rye Park Cafe this morning and then forgot about it and went into the park for a couple of hours. It was gone when we went back. I know it's unlikely, but if anyone finds an abandoned blue scooter, decorated with loads of rubber bands and a couple of stickers, please let me know! It's well used, well loved, and sorely missed by my son. Thanks.
