  1. i have obviously nothing against genuine individuals that find themselves unfortunately homeless for whatever reason and personally have given money many times when I see that the situation is genuine. what i was intimating was that individuals from that block I have personally seen begging for money in Lordship Lane pretending to be homeless when they are not... Crime is definitely escalating in this area.. not pointing fingers at the moment but if I had any supporting evidence then yes would definitely! Hence this thread..!

  3. Hi Rich, Two bikes were also stolen from Actress a cpl of weeks ago by individuals wearing motor cycle helmets.. possibly unrelated.. however, a bit of a coincidence - these individuals extremely brazen as bikes were locked & they just used bolt cutters to cut the lock in full view of the punters.. PM me as we have some CCTV footage. They just jumped on the bikes & fled in Goose Green direction - over in seconds! trust the Police are interested?

Bottles of spirits on the windowsills, empty beer cans & bottles on the ground outside the windows, obviously just chucked out of the windows.. I've personally seen one of the 'homeless' people regulary hanging out in Lordship lane begging around the co-op and Londis coming and going from there.. methinks you need to wake up/ get a reality check!

I don't suppose you caught a good look at him? I would suggest he was probably on a stolen bike and the lock was the one he had just broken.. there are some extremely unsavoury characters living in that block by the lights on the left next to Evans Cycles. Did you get much of a response from the Police?
  6. Has anybody else had any experience of theft around East Dulwich recently... For example; Car wheels stolen from cars parked in the streets, bikes stolen from outside pubs etc, etc?
  7. just had two wheels stolen from Mercedes parked in North Cross Road.. must have been between 12:00 and 06:00 Tuesday... just in case anybody saw anything?? Also, any other MB owners take note as they must have a master key for the locking wheel nuts, Police suggest adding another after market set from somewhere like Halfords
  8. from this morning.. Good morning Kevin We are hoping to handover the pub to our tenants on the 18 April to enable them to start their fit out. I anticipate that the pub will then be open in June. The delay at the current time is a live electricity cable in the basement that needs disconnecting by UKPN and they have given us a date of the 11 April for this to take place. Regards Adrian Director of Property The Dulwich Estate

Seems M&S may have taken its toll on Londis frozen food department already... freezer in rear corner of shop currently completely empty.. having said that, the sticker indicating the price (should any be available) for party ice cubes still remains (bottom left corner).

If interested there is a whole new thread on this forum dedicated to the subject of Ice Cubes recently created by Louisa such is their local importance it seems.
